a terrible part of game development that is not talked about enough is the "compromises" games are incredibly complex and require a lot of time, money, effort and motivation to be done sometimes you NEED to cut stuff, or change direction, because you don't have enough time or budget but the player sees the finished product "I don't like this thing!" yes I don't like it either "that thing feels rushed" it was, but it was necessary seeing players criticize those parts that are mostly right but necessary to see the game done before the 2030 is uhhhh sigh sighhh sighhh tiring and saddening
