I’m not going anywhere. Should this place become more toxic, I pledge to strive even harder to lift up reason, science, compassion and the rule of law. The struggle against fascism, misinformation, and hate requires tough fighters. I hope you stay in the fight, right beside me.

I don't much like the idea of "owners" (Product, Architectural, &c.). It reeks too much of a single wring-able neck to me, and usually increases delays and bottlenecks while you wait for somebody else to make decisions or give approvals. Coordinators? Sure. Owners? Not so much.

Perhaps there are two kinds of slow: annoying & deliberate.
Annoying: results from bottlenecks, lack of skill.
Deliberate: a correction action, meant to help us stop hurrying & rushing. We slow down to gain better balance and control, which ultimately helps us go faster.

The obvious conclusion of the Russian mass murders of civilian Ukrainians is that the West must maximize its arms deliveries to Ukraine and offer Ukraine all it wants as fast as possible. Putin must be stopped!

Being violently de-Christianized Russia didn't enter the era of progress and reason. Instead it fall back to the Neolith. Russian cult of WWII is a form of a neolithic ancestral cult. It is thoroughly cleansed from any Abrahamic values and centered around the worship of the dead

Building internal #platforms has many worthwhile goals: increase productivity and velocity, assure compliance, improve reuse, etc
Making something simplistic for the "not so smart developers" isn't one of them.

Many argue that sanctions are "ineffective". That’s false. They are already highly effective in undermining Russian military efforts and can be made even more efficient. They can guarantee that Russia loses this war if they are goal-oriented and not moral crusade-oriented🧵

Again we must ask why the US is dragging its feet, and NATO's, on giving Ukraine the airpower it needs. It's been two weeks. If they wanted it to happen, it would. Putin knows this, too. Are they still looking for some deal with this mass murderer?
Hans Ashlock retweeted
Again?! Is this a joke? Ukrainian civilians are being massacred and NATO is still wondering how to keep the man massacring them happy. Sorry, but NATO is going to have to do things Putin doesn’t like. They delayed so long risk is required now. xitter.cf/DanLamothe/status/1501…
