My article in @LMdiplo on the recent skirmishes between India and Pakistan 'As long as the two countries fail to listen to the people of Kashmir and Balochistan, there is little chance of a lasting peace.'
India and Pakistan have come to blows before. But not since the 1970s have the stakes felt higher than after April’s attack in Kashmir. No ceasefire can last long with fundamental issues still unaddressed. mondediplo.com/2025/06/04pak…

Worked on this report with @RecourseTeam on the perils of accepting the IMF and WB as climate experts on Pakistan (and the rest of the world).
Our new report with @ACJCE_Pakistan shows that IMF and WBG’s interventions are undermining climate and development goals. ❌ WBG and IMF have locked in fossil fuels, failed to provide relief after the 2022 floods in Pakistan, and led the country to tap into local coal reserves.
