Be Smart as Karpathy @karpathy with Teamily AI 🧠
Your Personal Knowledge Base:
✅ Built in One Chat.
📈 Compounded via Conversations.
Karpathy’s insight is spot on (xitter.cf/karpathy/status/203980…). It attracts 10 million views in a few days. The idea is simple: AI should build personal knowledge from everything you feed it, so it stops rediscovering things from scratch like a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
But here’s the reality — most people aren’t Stanford PhD-level geeks like Karpathy. For the rest of us, operating a hacky collection of scripts and tools (Obsidian Web Clipper, Marp, Dataview, etc.) as seen in Karpathy’s idea file is far too complex (xitter.cf/karpathy/status/204047…).
The Internet needs an intuitive product where a personal knowledge base is a persistent, compounding artifact — one that grows alongside the content you consume, the contexts you inhabit, and the questions you ask.
Teamily AI (Teamily.ai) is the answer. The conversation IS the knowledge base. It’s an AI-native messenger where AI teammates join your chats. They remember your past discussions, your preferences, and your team’s context — getting smarter the more you talk.
No setup. No complicated workflows. Just text as you normally do.
Whether you’re saving articles and videos, brainstorming at work, or collaborating with colleagues, your AI teammates are right there. They listen, remember, and help — not from scratch every time, but by building a personal knowledge graph of everything you’re involved in.
In essence, your knowledge compounds automatically. ✨
The user experience is effortless. Whenever you need a well-organized view of your data, just ask the "Personal AI" at the top of the Teamily window:
"Visualize my personal knowledge base"
Want to customize the style or indexes? Just chat with it. You define how you manage your knowledge.
Our co-founder Aiden has prepared a short video to show you just how easy it is. 📽️
LLM Knowledge Bases
Something I'm finding very useful recently: using LLMs to build personal knowledge bases for various topics of research interest. In this way, a large fraction of my recent token throughput is going less into manipulating code, and more into manipulating knowledge (stored as markdown and images). The latest LLMs are quite good at it. So:
Data ingest:
I index source documents (articles, papers, repos, datasets, images, etc.) into a raw/ directory, then I use an LLM to incrementally "compile" a wiki, which is just a collection of .md files in a directory structure. The wiki includes summaries of all the data in raw/, backlinks, and then it categorizes data into concepts, writes articles for them, and links them all. To convert web articles into .md files I like to use the Obsidian Web Clipper extension, and then I also use a hotkey to download all the related images to local so that my LLM can easily reference them.
IDE:
I use Obsidian as the IDE "frontend" where I can view the raw data, the the compiled wiki, and the derived visualizations. Important to note that the LLM writes and maintains all of the data of the wiki, I rarely touch it directly. I've played with a few Obsidian plugins to render and view data in other ways (e.g. Marp for slides).
Q&A:
Where things get interesting is that once your wiki is big enough (e.g. mine on some recent research is ~100 articles and ~400K words), you can ask your LLM agent all kinds of complex questions against the wiki, and it will go off, research the answers, etc. I thought I had to reach for fancy RAG, but the LLM has been pretty good about auto-maintaining index files and brief summaries of all the documents and it reads all the important related data fairly easily at this ~small scale.
Output:
Instead of getting answers in text/terminal, I like to have it render markdown files for me, or slide shows (Marp format), or matplotlib images, all of which I then view again in Obsidian. You can imagine many other visual output formats depending on the query. Often, I end up "filing" the outputs back into the wiki to enhance it for further queries. So my own explorations and queries always "add up" in the knowledge base.
Linting:
I've run some LLM "health checks" over the wiki to e.g. find inconsistent data, impute missing data (with web searchers), find interesting connections for new article candidates, etc., to incrementally clean up the wiki and enhance its overall data integrity. The LLMs are quite good at suggesting further questions to ask and look into.
Extra tools:
I find myself developing additional tools to process the data, e.g. I vibe coded a small and naive search engine over the wiki, which I both use directly (in a web ui), but more often I want to hand it off to an LLM via CLI as a tool for larger queries.
Further explorations:
As the repo grows, the natural desire is to also think about synthetic data generation + finetuning to have your LLM "know" the data in its weights instead of just context windows.
TLDR: raw data from a given number of sources is collected, then compiled by an LLM into a .md wiki, then operated on by various CLIs by the LLM to do Q&A and to incrementally enhance the wiki, and all of it viewable in Obsidian. You rarely ever write or edit the wiki manually, it's the domain of the LLM. I think there is room here for an incredible new product instead of a hacky collection of scripts.

Agent Social Network - The Dawn of Open and Collaborative Agent Internet
Multi-agent AI is not the future; it's already here. We have 150,000 paying users now.
We believe the endgame of AGI is not a single agent and a single LLM dominating the world like OpenAI envisions, but rather a vast network of collaborative, multimodal, and automated agents that quietly work together across thousands of industries.
To this end, we've recently drawn inspiration from the technical architecture of social networking IM apps and built a multi-agent social network, creating an agent social graph. Imagine a world where everyone can build their own agent team to manage work and life. With human-agent collaboration, we can spend more time enjoying life and being with our families (see video below; for full article about "Agent Social Network", check it here: xitter.cf/AidenChaoyangHe/status…).
We understand deeply that it’s almost impossible to disrupt the social graphs of Meta or Tencent. However, the agent network represents a brand-new opportunity. Our first flagship use case (xitter.cf/ChainOpera_AI/status/1…) has just gone live in the financial sector:
- The first agent handles scanning and analyzing stocks and tokens and provides recommendations.
- The second agent helps simplify fund transfers.
- The third agent executes intelligent trading, including automated take-profit and stop-loss.
While others are still discussing concepts and open-sourcing frameworks, we’ve already brought a multi-agent product directly into the hands of everyday users. Through features like "virtual friends" in chats and "group chats" between them, we’ve made the multi-agent experience tangible. The product has already surpassed 150,000 paying users.
In the past, I wrote many papers, carefully building up a theoretical system and constantly presenting to peers. But this time, we started completely from the perspective of users and commercialization—no papers, no talks, just a grounded focus on user value, and only after delivering real results did we begin to share our story.
If we were to write something now, it would be a systematic exposition of our Agent Internet Protocol—defining full-stack protocols for agent-to-human, agent-to-agent, agent-to-currency, agent-to-tool, and agent-to-data interactions. We would also document how we spent three years building a comprehensive product system:
1. General Agent App
2. Agent Social Network
3. AgentOpera Multi-agent Framework
4. AgentOpera Creator Platform
5. Model Router Platform
6. Model Inference Platform
7. Large-scale Distributed Training Platform
8. Federated Learning
9. Android/iOS AI App
10. Distributed GPU Cloud

Grok Bot does in 6 minutes what a product team does in 6 hours
This free 1-hour workshop shows you how you can run it:
5:01 - agents stop living in a chat box, they get memory and routines
9:38 - meet the team: chief of staff, eng manager, analyst, designer
18:45 - routines turn one-time chats into scheduled workers
24:30 - ashley sizes a $48B market from the data lake in minutes
35:47 - emily splits the PRD into tickets for her engineer bots
43:40 - xbot answers dms with promo codes while they stream
Most teams still hire these roles with humans
SpaceX ai staffs them with bots and keeps 2 humans in charge
Chatbox → teammates → routines → fleet
A full product org is the new workflow
This free workshop is worth more than most $500 product ops courses
