I think everyone needs to take a step back, breathe, and think about the reality we’re in. We’re all on the same side here. We all have the same goal. Yes, we may have different ideas for how to get there, but we all want the same thing. Trumpism has to be defeated; Project 2025 can’t be allowed anywhere near the corridors of power. We have to stop fighting amongst ourselves and keep our eyes on the prize. If Biden stays in the race — as it appears he will — he can, and will beat Donald Trump again with our help. If Biden decides to leave the race, Kamala Harris can, and will beat Donald Trump with our help. The situation is politically complicated, but it’s also fundamentally very easy. Our job doesn’t change. Our goals don’t change. We’re going to follow the UK. We’re going to follow France. We’re going to defeat authoritarianism.

...when one of your comedy heroes is reading one of your books 😃😃😃 (obviously I'm not actually smiling like this, cos, you know, I'm from Ulster...)
Worked my little tush off and am going to relax with an unread Adrian McKinty book (whom I adore) and a double header of four of the best teams in the Euros and I may even squeeze in a bit of the Tour de France. Heaven! And the Tories kicked out. What a day.

Very well deserved. 👏👏👏👏 Choose wisely. 😎
EVERYBODY KNOWS just won the Ian Fleming Steel Dagger 2024, sponsored by the estate of Ian Fleming. My understanding is that I will actually be sent a steel dagger as the prize, and that also I am legally licensed to kill one (1) person with it (UK only).

Where was Donald Trump today in 1987? He wasn't celebrating Indepence Day with his family. He wasn’t even in the United States. He was in Moscow, meeting with Soviet intelligence agents. This is the story of the KGB’s recruitment of Donald Trump. 🧵
