Pagans understand the threat of Christianity more than some Christians understand the civilization-forming power of their own faith. Otherwise the pagans would not mock it like we saw on the Olympics.
The choice is debauched statism or Christian liberty. Choose one.

We all worship something--religious and non-religious alike do so. Whatever is your "ultimate concern" (Tillich), your supreme love (Augustine) functions as a non-negotiable, something you can't live without, and therefore is a functional deity even if you don't call it that.

My husband’s three rules of engagement when we go to church:
1. An alone person in our gathering is an emergency.
2. Friends can wait.
3. Introduce a newcomer to someone else.

"I need help in order to worship God. Nothing helps me more than the Psalms....They speak for me to God--that is, they say what I often want to say, but for which I cannot find words." ~Elisabeth Elliot

The Bible is *more communal than individual.
Jesus teaches us to pray "Our Father" not "My Father."
Paul uses the phrase, "our Lord" 53 times, & "my Lord" only 1 time.
"Jesus is my personal savior" is not found in Scripture.
We are the people of God.
We belong to each other.

- John Newton. Before pointing out Jesus casting out the money-changers, remember his anger is perfect and pure--ours is not.

Where did the idea that killing babies in the womb is a “win” for black people?
They cite poor mortality rates for black women. Rather than solve the issues, people like @staceyabrams propose killing the baby instead calling it healthcare, the brilliance of the Afrostocracy. – at Douglasville, GA

Although the week ahead looks intimidating, we don't have to be consumed. Choose to remember that God's great love meets us right where we are and His compassion toward us never fails. It is new every morning! Lamentations 3:22-23

Christian parents must come to grips with the ways that the culture mystifies its beliefs as commonsense truths. Young people daily spend hours on social media where immersive waves of stories, testimonies, videos, commercials, and music convey worldview of secular modernity.

At just 20 weeks, she’s moving, turning her head, and kicking. Her beating heart is also visible.
