Christmas isn’t festive for all of us. Don’t suffer in silence. It’s okay not to be okay.

In tough times, it’s so important to be kind to ourselves. Remind yourself of all that’s good about you and the world. Comment and tag someone you think needs to see this today. Huge thanks to @nikkimiles_ for her beautiful, life-affirming illustration 💙

ALT A square-shaped illustration headlined “daily reminders” At the top in yellow is the byline of the illustrator @NikkiMiles_ Underneath the headline are two rows of three pictures with captions underneath. From left to right on row one: Underneath a dimpled yellow sun it says “Today will be good”. Underneath a smiling pink flower, it says “You are growing”. Underneath a rainbow, it says “Believe in yourself”. From left to right on row two: Underneath a red sparkly heart, it says “You are so loved”. Underneath a dimpled yellow star, it says “Keep shining superstar”. Underneath a gorgeously plump green apple, it says “You are enough”.

Being LGBTQI isn’t because of a consequence or an event. It’s who we are. It’s painful to navigate a life in which you aren’t perceived “normal”. So to separate the T away from the LGB hurts us all. We should be united by the fact we understand the consequences of being shut out.

For those too young to know how it felt just before Section 28 I have a feeling it felt like something like we are feeling today. I actually feel total despair and heartbreak for my trans family. What an awful world we are living in 😭
#IsItOk women’s football was celebrated this week without any women in the photo?

Most guys don’t look in the mirror & see a problem. But it’s staring us in the face. Sexual violence begins long before you think it does. #DontBeThatGuy

England players have not let the country down tonight, but plenty of England fans have. Completely and utterly embarrassing, if entirely predictable.

I wish you a healthy, happy Christmas and a peaceful new year. If you're lucky enough to be with loved ones over Christmas, hug them tight.
Stay safe everyone. 💜
Such a wonderful tribute to Caroline flack @bbcstrictly but a tissue warning would have been welcomed 😭
