This is a controversial opinion that shouldn’t be controversial. Watching a man get executed for entertainment is low-class plebian behavior. I can’t believe this even needs to be argued. People keep saying, “But he’s evil.” Okay. That still doesn’t explain why YOU want to watch him take his last breath. I hold myself to a higher standard, and that bothers people because I care about what I consume and what it does to my soul. I don’t want to become the kind of man who looks forward to watching somebody die. The content you consume shapes who you become.
