Pricing is aggressive, though. Intro rates are $2 per 1M input and $10 per 1M output, rising to $4 and $20 later. Cached input is 95% off - which is on par with the latest OpenAI offering. Cheap long-output runs make agentic workflows far easier to justify.

The catch: it isn't broadly available yet - sadly. It's rolling out first to trusted "cyber defenders" through the Fairwind Program. It should have been out though! I'll test it the moment API access opens. Benchmarks are a start, and real workflows are the test.

Tried ChatGPT Work on one of my boring weekly tasks: Pull data from Gmail → fill out a weekly form. One prompt. Done. And now I never have to do it manually again. That was just my first use case, and I can already think of several more workflows to automate. 👀

Lately, I’ve been building my own little macOS apps, internal tools, and Chrome extensions whenever I need something that doesn’t exist - or doesn’t work the way I want. GPT-5.6 is making that process even more addictive.

GPT-5.6 Sol for the bigger builds. Terra for speed. Luna for quick iterations. The shift for me is simple: I’m spending less time searching for software that solves my problem, and more time just building it.
