Today, I'm excited to welcome Andy Lambert to Valar Atomics as Chief Production Officer.
Andy has led an extraordinary career in manufacturing. As VP of Production at SpaceX, Andy took Falcon 9 from a fledgling single-use rocket to the world's most reliable launch vehicle and first orbital-class self-landing system, while also industrializing Falcon Heavy production and leading quality for America's primary human-rated spacecraft, Crew Dragon.
Those who know me best know my particular style of hiring executives; that is, not hiring them until I've found the best in the world. It has taken me three years to find somebody that I feel is capable of executing on our mission to turn nuclear energy from a construction industry to one based on vertically integrated mass-manufacturing and rapid deployment.
If you prick Valar Atomics in any place, you will find that we bleed scale. Every decision in our architecture has been meticulously and ruthlessly honed for building not tens of reactors, but thousands.
Nuclear reactors are simple machines, but real scaled production is very hard. I wanted to find somebody who has lived through production hell of a novel system where the safety of human life hangs in the balance.
Andy started his career working on the Harrier for the Royal Air Force, then moved into production at BMW. At SpaceX, Andy was responsible for the production of Falcon 9 and the quality of Crew Dragon, two of humanity's most challenging and safety-sensitive products. After SpaceX, Andy built complex and novel energy systems at Heliogen, then ran production at the innovative and vertically integrated hypercar company Czinger.
This mix of novel environments, unprecedented pace, deep vertical integration, and life-safety quality is exactly what Valar Atomics needs to bring humanity into the atomic age and make energy cheaper than ever before.
But more than all of that, I found Andy and his wife Carrie to be incredibly kind and genuine people who are incapable of resting on their laurels. They are hungry to help build the future. My reference checks on Andy were all consistent: he fights hard to win, but he does so in a way that brings everyone along.
If you've worked with Andy in the past, or have worked in organizations that have been fortunate enough to have him at the helm, this is your chance to see him in peak form. The mission of Valar Atomics is to make energy cheaper and more abundant in the universe than ever before. We are doing this by becoming the first company in history to build thousands of nuclear fission reactors. This will require the absolute best people in the United States working harder than they've ever worked before. But our mission is worth your efforts. Join us!

30 days of Hard Tech: Day 8 ☢️
Abe Murray (GP at AlleyCorp):
“Isaiah is so phenomenal at telling a story, pulling a cult of belief behind him around what he's trying to do with nuclear power”
“Isaiah said from day one, ‘You have to touch metal. You have to build. You can't theorize your way to a new nuclear reactor. You have to actually do it.’”
“He understood what the world needs is cheap energy. It doesn't need a theoretically optimal reactor. It needs a buildable, scalable reactor, and that's what he's off doing.”
“And at the end of the day, Kevin Ryan (founder of AlleyCorp) asked me, ‘Is this one of the most incredible humans you've met?’ And the answer is yes, of course, and we backed him”
I voted for this!
BREAKING 🔴
The United States has just imposed sanctions on the International Criminal Court.
Only hours after the Nobel Peace Prize was ridiculously awarded to Navi Pilay (former ICC judge)
INCREDIBLE MOVE BY THE US 🇺🇸
Marco Rubio’s Press Statement October 9th 2026:
“For decades, Republicans and Democrats alike rejected the idea that the International Criminal Court had the power to prosecute American citizens, military servicemembers, or political leaders. America never joined the court. We don’t need it. And we don’t want it.
But globalist “experts” an ocean away don’t care what American citizens think.
They want the ICC to do more, including the prosecution of American citizens. Servicemembers defending their country, Border Patrol agents protecting our nation, and elected leaders ensuring our national security. They want more power, and they want it at our expense.
President Trump will never allow the International Criminal Court to prosecute Americans. That is why, today, the United States is sanctioning the International Criminal Court. We will ban transactions with this rogue court, cutting off their resources and crippling its ability to operate.
We have been clear for over a year as to the basic gestures of good faith we have expected from the court. We exercised discretion and deferred this designation out of respect for our relationships and in hopes that the ICC would change course or would otherwise be restrained by States Parties. However, neither the ICC nor States Parties have yet taken meaningful steps to address our concerns.
Despite their inaction, we hold out hope for a diplomatic solution. We have structured this action to provide an opportunity for States Parties to negotiate and present a solution to address our concerns. If these efforts do not bear fruit, we will continue to adjust accordingly.
Our message is clear: the United States and its people are not subject to the jurisdiction of the ICC. Both parties agree on this, but only President Trump has the resolve to take the action needed to end this threat for good. Either the ICC will end its threats, or we will end the ICC. We expect our allies, many of whom are part of the ICC and that rely on American servicemembers for their defense, to rein in the court.
If they do not, the United States will continue its campaign to dismantle the ICC, brick by brick, until Americans are threatened no longer.
The ICC is being designated pursuant to section 1(a)(ii)(A) of Executive Order (E.O.) 14203.”
Common sense
Bureaucrats in the deep state understand the media lackeys will carry on like church ladies clutching pearls if money to HHS is cut, so they move the ideological grants to that dept. In their world, we must never stop feeding the god of $cience.
And that is why we need changes to 2CFR. Unelected and unaccountable bureaucrats should not have the final say in grant distribution.
Dear @united ~ if you strictly enforce an obesity policy, all the fat people will get offended and fly @AmericanAir ~ A win/win/win for everyone involved.
We need to have a serious conversation about overweight people flying on commercial airlines.
I’m flying on @AmericanAir and after paying extra money to upgrade my seat, I got stuck next to a man who is 300+ pounds and stripped mid flight.
None of the flight attendants wanted to confront him.
He smells like 💩 and weed.
He’s literally sitting in my seat and keeps touching me.
For context, he’s literally 300+ pounds and I’m 120.
Why does American Airlines think it’s acceptable to treat people this way?!
I tried reaching out discreetly during the flight, but they have no avenues to do that.
@ America.gov ~ list the amazing things Trump has accomplished during his tenure. Thanks for your attention to this matter.
With all my heart
I am convinced most of the $40 trillion of National Debt is due to fraud.
From scams for foreign aid, fraudulent wars, fake climate schemes, illegal aliens getting benefits, Somalis faking their kids have autism for more money ... it never stops.
Our country was looted.
This headline makes me happy. But I’m not gonna read the article so that I can remain smug in my prejudice against the academy.
This isn’t rocket science. It’s another step towards insolvency.
Listen.
If $9,000 is the thing that is going to let moms stay home and for families to have more children, then make it a $9,000 tax credit.
If you want them to have $9,000, then government shouldn’t take the $9000 from them to start with. Giving back the money they took like it’s a favor when they could just let them keep it. Even worse, government shouldn’t have to take $15,000 from someone else while keeping $6,000 for itself snd then “give” the $9,000 it stole from someone else.
Reduce taxes. Don’t increase spending.
Run Ron Run!
A good reason to follow Florida’s approach to social welfare which centers on linking people in need to resources exterior to government — including churches, charities, businesses and individuals — through the care portal.
Dependence on government has been reduced by tens of thousands of people and $100 plus million has been saved as a result.
Government is not the solution.
