We should be living our short lives enraptured by the unending beauty and chance of life and notice were more alike than not. Those differences can and should be viewed as strengths, for we need many tools of different sizes and shapes to build a house.

Most decaf coffee is made with methylene chloride. It's the solvent that used to be in paint stripper. The green beans are steamed, then washed in methylene chloride, which pulls out the caffeine and not much else. The beans are steamed again to drive off the solvent and then roasted at over 400F. FDA allows up to 10 parts per million. When a lab tested 24 decaf brands in 2020 it found the solvent in 10 of them at about 0.05 to 0.1 ppm, around 100 times below the limit. The industry calls this the European method. There are 3 other ways to do it. Ethyl acetate, a solvent that can be made from sugarcane, which the trade calls the natural method. Carbon dioxide under pressure. And the Swiss Water process, which uses hot water and carbon filters and no solvent at all. Peet's says all of its decaf is water process. Starbucks has told reporters most of its decaf is the direct contact method, meaning solvent. EPA banned most uses of methylene chloride in 2024, but food is FDA's job, so decaf wasn't part of it. A petition to pull it from food has sat at FDA since December 2023. FDA reopened comments on it in May and hasn't decided. If the bag says Swiss Water or water process, no solvent touched it. If the bag says nothing, you don't know.

He was impeached the first time because he tried to blackmailed Zelenskyy over Javelin missiles and he got caught. This time, it would appear, on its face, that Trump collaborated with Russia in creating a stand down that was responsible for the deaths of dozens of Ukrainians.

🔥 Trump is blaming Ukraine for a diesel crisis while making promises with Putin. Zelensky's answer: Ukraine decides whether russian refineries operate. 🇺🇦👇
🔥 GLOVES ARE OFF. Yesterday, Zelensky to Trump: Cut the crap. Your Iran war. Your diesel crisis. Stop blaming Ukraine. Today: “Why is the US making deals with russia? WE decide if their refineries operate.” 🧵

We currently see no signs from Russia that it wants to end the war. We see no basic steps toward de-escalation. Everyone is talking about diesel and forgetting about grain. In a month or two, everyone will start talking about an agricultural crisis. There won’t be enough food for countries across Africa, some Asian countries, and the Middle East, because we export millions of tons of grain to these very markets. And now Russia is blocking the sea. The United States isn’t feeling the effects of this, which is why the focus is only on energy. This is another challenge. It’s hunger. And it can affect many countries. And we need to think about everything and everyone, because we all live on this planet. We can prevent many different crises before they even begin and avert the challenges they bring. From remarks at the Warsaw Security Forum. (2)

Russia supports Iran. We buy Russian diesel. So we are supporting the war against us. Explain to me how this is America First?

He wants to be at war because it’s good spin on his Epstein involvement. We also don’t need their diesel. The U.S. produces more diesel than any other country on the planet.

I don’t care how many ICE agents are standing around when I vote, or what weapons they’re holding. No one is going to stop me from voting. I haven’t missed a major election since my 18th birthday, and I’m not gonna start now. Redneck cavemen can go fuck each other while I vote.

Elon by himself could have ended world hunger and still had enough money left to buy everyone in your state a house.
It just pisses me off so badly that the world COULD be a better place, but a handful of people actively choose not to let it.

How recently women got rights you probably assumed we’ve always had: 1910 - Women could wear pants 1920 - White women could vote 1963 - Women gained equal pay rights (sort of) 1965 - Black women could vote 1969 - Women could initiate divorce 1972 - Women could get birth control without a man's permission 1973 - Women could get an abortion, legally 1974 - Women were allowed to open up a bank account, loan or credit card without a man’s name attached to it 1988 - Women could own their own business 1994 - Women gained legal protection against domestic abuse 2022 - Women lost the constitutional right to abortion We’re going backwards. Anyone who doesn’t see it that way is a fucking idiot.

If this reads like one of those Nigerian prince scam emails, it’s because it’s exactly like one of those Nigerian prince scam emails
Trump: "I am pleased to announce that my Administration will, immediately, begin sending 'Checks' of nearly $100 to over 20 MILLION wonderful Seniors to help pay for their Medicare Part B premiums, which we have already reduced by significant amounts. This money will come from the Medicare Improvement Fund, a pointless 'Slush Fund' that has only been used by Dumocrats in Congress to pay for the Waste, Fraud, and Abuse for their Special Interest friends, and drive up Healthcare costs. We are finally using this Fund, along with my Most Favored Nations Deals, to substantially LOWER costs for our Seniors. I pledged to protect and preserve Medicare and Social Security, which were on the verge of RUIN by Joe Biden, who foolishly and maliciously let tens of millions of Illegal Aliens into our Country, and we are doing just that for America’s Seniors. This is separate from the equally substantial Refund 'Checks' we are sending to One Million Americans who were overcharged for their Unaffordable Care Act plans by Joe Biden. Because I delivered on this very important issue for the American People, they can also rest assured the highly popular $5,000 Trump Dividend will be distributed to every U.S. Citizen if, and when, the Republicans win the Midterm Elections! Thank you for your attention to this matter. President DONALD J. TRUMP"

It IS crazy, but America is more corrupt now than most third-world countries— just as MAGA voters insisted on. You realize— don’t you?— that you could change all this just 35 days from now.

With every paycheck since your first job, you've contributed 6.2%, and your employer has paid 6.2%. That’s 12.4% every time. Social Security should never be considered a handout – it’s EARNED.
