Pas mau renov garasi ini, sempet mau pake jasa kontraktor, udah disurvei, lalu udah dihitung RAB nya estimasi butuh 120jtan sampai selesai. Jujur aja, saya gak punya pengalaman bikin bangunan sendiri, tapi keknya over budget harga segitu, apalagi menurut saya luasnya gak gede-gede amat. Akhirnya coba otodidak, beli bahan sendiri, hire tukang langsung. Untung dibantu AI Supernala.com supaya tercatat dan rapi catatan keuangannya. Mari kita lihat apakah endingnya habis 120jt an atau way way lebih hemat.

Gw termasuk yg males nyatet keuangan.

seems obvious to everyone around me that sandboxes are on their way out. we hear too many stories about reliability, capacity, broken sandboxes that need manual intervention -- plus they are way too expensive for what they provide. the future for agents? workspaces. your agent doesn't need a computer. it needs a place to store it's context, and the *tools* to manipulate that context each turn. we're in the very early stages of the AI era. the simplest version of this pattern is just handing each agent a time-multiplexed VM, since that's the only thing that we have at hand right now. over the next 12 months, you're going to see a rapid shift away from this model and towards what i call the "magic compute box". rather than giving an agent a VM, you give it a set of tools (could be "bash", "python", "js", "read_file", "write_file") -- and you send those commands to a magic service in the cloud that manages to run them for you -- using the cheapest technology available (just-bash, wasm, or even Linux if really required) for each command invcation. your agent doesn't want a computer that it can set a desktop background for, it wants a place where it can fire off an unlimited number of tool calls and have it update the context correctly.
is this a hot take? if you're using persistent VMs with agents you're doing it wrong ephemeral sandboxes are not only the future, but they are already the present, and they provide numerous and superior capabilities to single or small quantity persistent VMs

sadly no, they are not cut it yet until October 30 so our experience now is GPT 6.1 Sol but still using the old limit. after it cut in half then we should expect it emptied faster. but I think even so, it will still same more or less with Opus 5.5 usage on Claude @grok confirm?

pi is the new "I use neovim, btw" 😁 tapi anehnya dulu saya suka pake neovim, tapi kurang suka pake pi. mungkin lebih karena belum ada waktu buat ngulik. herdr + opencode udah cukup buat sekarang

Just because you can build (with AI), doesn't mean you should, right?

Adding support for @typesafeai's Jev in distilled - use Effect schema to define the questions and just call `ask` to get back structured data. Badass.

The long term goal of Sapa is not payment as I believe we have so many great PG in Indonesia already. The long term goal is the ease to compose the building block of monetization like subscription, license, entitlements, etc. so that when we building app, we don't need to vibe code monetization anymore

Other than Subscription, Sapa also cover more use case like licensing, one time payment + download, etc docs.usesapa.app/recipes/ you can check the recipes here

The "whiteboard defense:" I should be able to pull you aside at any moment and ask you to explain any customer-facing system you've shipped. You should be able to clearly explain how it works and defend the decisions you made. This is my benchmark for responsible AI usage. I don't expect line-level familiarity with the code. I don't care if you remember the exact function name or implementation detail. You may not even know it. I don't care. But if I ask "why did you do X instead of Y?", "what happens if this actor behaves maliciously?", "what data structure did you use here and why?", or "where does this fail?" you should be able to answer confidently. For PoCs, demos, experiments, whatever: I don't care. Generate 100% of it and understand none of it. Speed over quality every time in those specific scenarios. But if you're shipping customer-facing work, you can't be shipping things you don't understand at a high level.

Kalau kalian punya sekelompok bot yg bisa bantuin kerjaan kalian, kira-kira kalian mau bikin bot untuk tugas ngapain aja? Code review? Kelola landing page? Ngurus iklan? Ngurus dokumentasi? Enak bener semua dikerjain bot, kita tinggal bilang "Oke setuju" 😂

I can’t stress enough how little an idea matters compared to the agency of the people executing the idea. I have had the privilege of knowing and sometimes even working with some of the most successful people (by various metrics). The difference between mediocre and excellent work and outcomes is predominantly one of agency. In practice this means: they dont wait for things to happen to them they go out and make things happen for them. They don’t wait for someone else to do something, for someone to teach them, for someone to give them the path, etc. They just go out and find a way to do it. I think the single biggest superpower these people have is the realization/belief that the world around them is completely mutable. Most everything that happens is because a person made it happen. I used to tell people to look around the room you’re sitting in. Look at everything. Every noun. It almost all exists because a person willed it into existence. Nothing is stopping you from doing the same. I see people online all the time dismissing someone else’s success because “I had that idea first” or whatever. I mean… yeah? If so then the difference is… you. So a bit of a self own whenever I hear that. Number one tip: act with agency.

I have to admit, I have zero excitement about this latest flurry of new model releases I am sure they are all better, but the existing ones were more than good enough, and I'm learning how much to trust those existing ones... and already they do more than I can utilize them (for writing code) So no, I'm not particularly excited about Fable 5.1 or Astra or anything else - what would I use it for??
