The biggest leadership gap in 2026 isn’t strategy. It’s not even skills. It’s the gap between the leader people need… and the leader they actually get. 72% of employees say their manager is the #1 reason they stay or leave. Yet most leaders are still managing tasks instead of leading humans. They’re closing deals. But not closing the trust gap. Not closing the clarity gap. Not closing the “I actually give a crap about you” gap. The result? Quiet quitting. High turnover. Exhausted teams. And leaders who wonder why no one is following with their whole heart. Here’s the truth most won’t say out loud: You can’t close the gap for your people until you close the gap in yourself. Self-awareness. Emotional intelligence. Clear purpose. Daily discipline. That’s what separates the leaders who merely occupy the title… from the ones who actually close the gap. Which gap are you closing this week? Drop a 🔥 if you’re done leading on autopilot. Tag a leader who needs this reminder. #Gapcloserleader #Leadership #CloseTheGap #EmotionalIntelligence #LeadershipDevelopment #LeadersWhoLead

I’ll start- my definition goes like this- “Success is a confident peace from TRYING your best to BE your best at something that MATTERS.” Or in other words- SUCCESS is PEACE from maximum effort+maximum performance for a powerful PURPOSE! Thoughts? I’d love to know how you define success for yourself. And if you haven’t- well, then how will you ever know if you are or not? 🤔 #leadership
