I'm curious what the African perspective is on VIBE CODING.

There is a lot of buzz about whether or not people should still learn how to code I don't know the right answer to this but from the Nigerian/African perspective I feel anyone coming into tech learning how to actually build instead of just prompting away is still valuable

I personally have vibe coded like 90% of my projects and still find myself coming back to learn how to actually build from scratch Especially with the first world guys tweeting 10k mrr vibe coded projects every day

I’m happy to share that I’ve obtained a new certification: Building AI Powered Chatbots Without Programming from IBM! it was fun building an interactive AI chatbot, to help businesses automate repetitive FAQs and give customers a personalized experience

I highly recommend freeCodeCamp’s text-based Python Certification course. If you’re tired of watching endless video tutorials and prefer learning by reading and practising as you go, give it a try.

I recently assumed office as the SUG Director of Ethics and Morals at Federal Polytechnic Nekede. I look forward to serving students, learning from the experience, and building systems that will continue to make an impact beyond my time in office.

Currently learning how to build AI chatbots with IBM watsonx Assistant through IBM's course on Coursera. Taking it one step at a time and learning how conversational AI systems are actually built. I'll be sharing what I build and learn along the way.

Piggyvest is hands down one of the best tech companies in Nigeria They basically made Money management; easy, fun and exciting Piggyvest to the moon
Ten years ago, we set out to build something that would alter the way a generation thinks about saving and investing money. Today, over 6 million people have responded with their trust. They’ve built in discipline and consistency. In quiet moments, they’ve written goals that read like letters to their future selves. What started as a simple product has evolved into culture and a part of our everyday lives. The first-ever Piggyvest documentary is now live on YouTube 💙 youtu.be/ccuqOm2k0j4?si=SH7L…

Let’s hit 50 in the next hour ♟️🔥 If you can, go buy a chess set — this is impact. I’m an undergrad taking an AWS course, learning cloud security. Ready to build, just limited by tools. This laptop changes that.
30 chess sets sold so far. 70 to go. If we hit 50 in the next one hour, I will donate one million naira to buy two laptops to support an undergraduate in tech.
