I’ll never understand TCU fans upset at Hoover for leaving. Kid just wanted to be coached by a real coach, get a chance to win, and a chance at the NFL. Blame Sonny and the administration for keeping Sonny

TCU hasn't allowed more than 21 points in a game this season. The Horned Frogs 13.4 points allowed per game ranks tied for 12th nationally. It's the same as Georgia.
TCU is 2-3.

The FBS Oversight Committee says in a statement that "instant replay protocols were not followed in the contest’s second-to-last play" in the Western Michigan-Michigan game, and "had the protocols been followed, the outcome of the game would have been different."
FBS oversight committee says it cannot overturn the result.
NEW: The Big Ten has released a statement on the controversial Michigan walk-off Hail Mary against Western Michigan:
“Following video review, it was determined Western Michigan’s #18 started his jump from an established out-of-bounds position (left foot) and made contact with the ball with one second remaining on the clock. As shown in the provided video of what was viewed during the replay process, a side-by-side view of the play and the game clock, using a direct shot of the game clock in the stadium, was used to determine the final ruling.
Eighty-five minutes prior to the game, all broadcast cameras used for the replay system, including the camera on the game clock, are synced using a strobe system to ensure all cameras are aligned.
Per NCAA Football rule 4-2-3-a, “A ball not in player control, other than a kick that scores a field goal, is out of bounds when it touches the ground, a player, a game official or anything else that is out-of-bound, or that is on or outside a boundary line.” and thus the clock is stopped.”

FBS oversight committee: Western Michigan beat Michigan. The refs were wrong. The result should be different. We saw it. You saw it. Everybody saw it.
But we’re not changing it because that would hurt Michigan and that’s not allowed.

.@NFL per this ruling, I'd like the league to review all 169 of my interceptions. My intent was clearly to throw to MY receiver. Please advise.

Regardless of the ending of this game the Saints got absolutely robbed by the refs and this should be their game-winning drive not game-tying drive.

I was Week 1 2026 years old when I learned a quarterback’s intention to throw the ball forward can turn this into an incompletion. I … don’t get it.

#49ers rookie WR De'Zhaun Stribling, who left the opener early with an injury, is out at least a month with a deltoid sprain in his ankle, sources say.
Stribling is still seeking opinions, and while surgery is not currently planned, it is possible. SF will be cautious.

"We’re not going to forget about that, and I don’t think they’ll forget about it either when we’re up by 40 and still throwing the ball in the fourth quarter. That’s where the retribution will come.”
