The HPFFA extends our deepest condolences to the families and colleagues affected by the tragic incident at CFB Wainwright Alberta.
Our thoughts are with the Canadian Armed Forces personnel, those injured and all first responders responding to this tragedy.
Today, on the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, the OPFFA honours the Indigenous children who never returned home, as well the Survivors of residential schools, their families and communities.β¨We recognize the lasting impacts of the residential school system and the importance of listening, learning and reflecting as we continue on the path toward reconciliation.β¨Today, and every day, we remember and honour. π§‘β¨#NationalDayForTruthAndReconciliation #OrangeShirtDay #EveryChildMatters
We were honoured to gather with locals from coast to coast at the IAFF Fallen Firefighters Memorial in Colorado Springs, honouring those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
HPFFA L288 proudly remembers Brother Wilfred Elliott.
Today marks 25 years since September 11, 2001.
We honour the 343 FDNY firefighters and all emergency responders who made the ultimate sacrifice that day. We remember their courage, their service, and the countless lives forever changed by the events of that day.
Happy Labour Day!
Weβre proud to fight for our members and are grateful to those who came before us, who fought for the standards we strive to enhance and protect every day.
Hamilton is our home, and weβre proud to stand together for our community.

Happy International Firefighters Day to crews everywhere, but weβll admit, weβre a little biased. HPFFAβs got some of the best!
Proud to serve this city, proud of the work being done every day and proud to stand alongside a group that always shows up when it matters.
On #firstrespondersday weβre giving a well deserved shoutout to all the firefighters, paramedics, police officers, dispatchers and emergency crews who serve our communities across Ontario.

Today we gathered at the Hamilton Workers Memorial at City Hall to reflect during the National Day of Mourning. Remembering those who were killed, injured or made ill on the job. A moment to pause, reflect and stand together in recognition of the lives impacted.
