My portfolio (+812%) vs. S&P 500 (+83%). In 4 1/2 years since my portfolio has been public, I've outperformed the S&P 500 by ~10x.
I've been told consistently that it's nearly impossible to beat the S&P 500, yet I've been doing just that for ~25 years! Kind of wild.
What am I buying now? My portfolio is public and 100% free (link in bio). But if you must know, this year, I've been going heavy into $MU (my AI semiconductor bet, trading at a ridiculous forward PE of just 7, or a 70% discount to FPE of the S&P500), $META (my overall "amazing business" that's growing faster than peers with huge AI upside, yet trading at a massive discount) and $RIVN (my "future is EVs + Autonomy" bet, but on a company that has a ridiculously low valuation of just $22 Billion rather than $1.4 Trillion!).
I share my views and what I'm doing publicly, including alerts of when I make trades, but I don't give investment advice. Everything I share is for awareness and helping others learn from my transactions.
If it's helped you in any way, comment and say hi!
I love that the $MU "cyclical" people will not let it go! 🤣
Except according to them, earnings had already peaked in the cycle 5 quarters ago when Micron revenues hit a record $9.3 Billion and it made a whopping $1.61 EPS.
Last quarter, it did $41 Billion and pumped out $25.11 EPS (about 15x when it supposedly "peaked") and this quarter it's expected to do $51 Billion (+$10 Billion quarter-over-quarter, more than all of its revenue when it had "peaked" 5 quarters ago) and pump out another $31 of EPS.
But even more importantly, memory companies like $MU, $SNDK and $SKHY, are all starting to do 5-year contracts with their customers to ensure they don't get left hanging to dry if this super-cycle happens to end suddenly. FIVE. YEAR. CONTRACTS! You know which other public companies have 5-year contracts? NOBODY! It's super-rare to find companies who have a significant portion of their revenues guaranteed for 5 years!
And all the "yeah, but the buyers can cancel their contracts anytime" people don't understand another important factor: the buyers ($AAPL, $MSFT, $GOOGL, $META, $NVDA, etc.) are pre-paying BILLIONS of dollars on these 5-year contracts to make sure they get the products they need and there is no indication that any of these companies are going to walk away from their commitments.
So let these guys keep saying "it's cyclical" until they are blue in the face. At some point, they'll all come around!
We've been working on a product called @PortarisAI, where users can connect all their brokerage/bank/loan accounts (READ-ONLY) and get incredible insights, news, SEC filings, notifications, debt and net worth information in a beautiful way. Plus a daily report and access to a top-notch AI model to answer your questions about the specific holdings you have.
We're super excited about this product, but I want to know what you think by replying to this thread.
Check it out at portaris.com/
Just 6 days left until the big $MU day where we find out if this level of profitability is sustainable and Micron's guide for the future...if they meet/beat these ridiculous expectations and continue saying what they have been saying (which is that supply constraints will last well into 2028+), what happens to the stock?
Steve Jobs introduced iMac, MacBook, iPod, iPhone, and iPad in his 40s and early 50s.
Elon Musk introduced the Model S, X, 3, Y, the Falcon 9 and Starlink in his 40s and early 50s.
Mark Zuckerberg of $META just turned 42 and he appears to have JUST STARTED cooking!.
There's something about a mature, founder-run company, when the CEO hits their 40s that suddenly all the pieces of the puzzle fall into place.
🤔
“We knew Muse was coming for 6 months, but we told you $META is overvalued at $550 with a PE of 17…now that you know this, we recommend buying $AAPL at a PE of 37, $TSLA at a PE of 270 and $SPCX which doesn’t even have E! But it has a lot of P!”
We should all listen to Gene more!
$META finished +11% today. That’s good news for $TSLA, $AAPL and $SPCX.
We knew Muse was coming for 6 months. The stock is ripping because the broader market has now used the product and finally gets how good it is.
That same rip higher dynamic is next for these mega caps, in order:
$AAPL on Duo demand
$AAPL on the new Siri (personalized AI)
$TSLA on FSD
$TSLA on Cybercab
$SPCX on orbital data centers
$TSLA on Optimus
Remember how everyone made fun of Zuck for giving $100 Million pay packages to attract top AI talent to $META?
Elon didn’t need to do that. He used his clout and popularity in the tech world to avoid huge pay packages and instead gave himself A $1 trillion pay package at each of $TSLA and $SPCX, enough to have recruited 10,000 top notch engineers with $100 million pay packages each.
I wonder which company has the better AI talent right now? 🤔
You gotta love @natfriedman and I wonder if a part of @steipete wishes he had accepted $META’s offer over OpenAI
If $RIVN is at ~12k vehicles in just 3 months on 1 shift, clearly they’re going to CRUSH the top line 25k deliveries guide as they move to 2 shifts by end of this month!
If the 2nd shift adds 50% more vehicles in Q4, that would mean:
12k (already delivered)
+ 12k (first shift in Q4)
+ 6k (2nd shift in Q4)
= 30k R2 vehicles delivered in 2026!
Exciting times ahead for Rivian!
The R2 ramp keeps moving.
Rivian Roamer now shows the highest tracked R2 VIN at 12,1XX, with that vehicle already booked for delivery.
Rivian is still targeting 20K–25K R2 deliveries in 2026, with the second shift expected by the end of September and the bigger volume impact coming in Q4.

I am traveling this week, so no @BuyHoldRant episode on Wednesday this week, but we'll be back next week on THURSDAY October 1st (instead of Wed).
In the meantime, you can check out past episodes on YouTube, Apple Podcasts and Spotify.
Tobi of @shopify has the customers' interest in mind, while $AMZN appears to be taking a protectionist path.
The difference is Tobi is a hands-on founder who is literally coding things and using AI daily himself and I suspect Jassy @ajassy is a non-founder CEO who is probably in 8 hours of meetings every day.
