Toby Fox is disabled btw
He can barely use his hands and has to use speech to text to maneuver his computer
"I don't like how toby fox is discriminating against disabled gamers who aren't able to play the game with the new merch policy. I don't think he is intentionally ableist, but that's the result of the new merch policy"
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The merch policy text (incl. "If you sell, please have played the game") is not new. It is copied verbatim from Toby Fox's February 2016 Undertale Tumblr post and remains on the official Deltarune help page (he referenced the same guidelines for Deltarune in 2022).
