Today was supposed to be a HUGE day for my 7-year-old little brother. He just started 8U football and was beyond excited to attend @ChicagoBears Training Camp and meet the players he looks up to. He had even been given a spot in the Kids Only Autograph Line. Unfortunately, the weather had other plans. We completely understand why the Bears had to cancel/suspend camp for the weather. Safety comes first. But he was absolutely crushed. He was ready to meet his role models and even brought his Bears gear/cards hoping to get some signed. @CALEBcsw, @RomeOdunze, @TJEdwards8, @B1essah, and the rest of the LB room specifically, you guys are this kid’s heroes. He was so excited. He’s been learning to catch the ball and tackle within the past week and wanted to see the pros do it. If there’s ANY way to give this kid another opportunity to meet even just ONE of his role models, I know it would mean the absolute world to him. I even told him about @TheRealStaley possibly being there, and he was STOKED. He’s going to be talking about this day for years either way.
