Bookstore funding update.
Not looking likely. But if you know me, you will know this has only amused me and not at all stopped my progress.
There are more ways to get funded.
Whilst I know I'll likely never have the following in the UK to have a reason to create the little indie bookstore I dream about, I can at least try to fund a comiccon adventure, take the bookstore around a little.

I had a rough few weeks. Had to postpone a few books because of finances, diagnosed with PTSD, and told to take 3 months off work. Today I saw this review and almost cried. I feel understood, for the first time in a long while.

Launching a Creative Writing workshop soon over on Substack. Tried Patreon but it did not suit our writing style. We have an idea.
Tidying up our online presence. The instagram is going to be left dormant with a link to the Etsy, and the Etsy will replace eBay as we reach a more refined audience through there. Lots of vintage sci-fi and philosophy books about to appear in stock.
We are thinking that halfplanet might represent more than just printing and selling books, that we might soon offer creativity enhancing workshops, workshop materials, and silly shenanigans
We are HalfplanetCreative, the creativity generator.
In 2023 we will:
Open creative workshops (Lego/Writing hybrid)
Form partnerships with powerful magazines
Open a travelling bookstore
Create comedy nights
Get a talk show on TV
