With the big game on the line, there’s no one better to call a Saraland game than my #BMGC/Midwest bro, @halfadrink! Jim Cox is even keeled, knowledgeable, and shares nuggets of info to make you an even more informed fan. So many watch from the sidelines and try to “coach” “ref” and do “play by play” but until you are in this seat yourself or see it from this vantage point can you adequately appreciate when someone is really, really good at it and truly loves this sport. P.S. When attending the game as media, you aren’t allowed to cheer for any team. I never have and never will. Integrity and character matter. It’s no secret I’m a Spartans fan (I’m mom to ✌🏽 SHS grads) and while the game didn’t end the way we wanted it, our young men have much to be proud of and once they rest up, they will set new goals and continue to make big things happen…on the field and in life! I’m so very proud of them, their coaches, the dance team, cheerleaders, Spartan Sound, Color Guard, families, volunteers, etc… Congratulations to A.H. Parker High School, your 2024 6A Champions.
