Rose Acton
This week we celebrated the life of @RoseActon, our wonderful Zinc colleague who tragically died at the age of 28. Rose’s life was far too short, but it was packed full of achievement, love and inspiration.
Rose summed-up everything we aspire to be at Zinc.

Glad I had opportunity to share my (on-going) series The Cure with national audience @BBCTwo, exploring spinal injury, crossing into access/disability themes, inspired by my love of Old Masters, X-rays, using traditional oils & virtual reality

2 personal goals have been stuck in my head for years:
- how to make low-cost robotics incl. gripper to help people with disabilities to be independent (since '13)
- how VR can be used to give people with disabilities more freedom ('14)

Thank you NHS workers everywhere. I certainly would not have survived my car accident aged 2 in the 80s without their hard work and support for the last 38 years! Cambridge Uni, full-time work in the City, art exhibitions, VR short films - none of it possible without NHS!
