Hey, I’m Hajara. A CS major on a journey to find my place in tech by building solid skills and exploring what niche suits me best.
I share what I learn daily, coding progress, challenges, poems, reflections, and raw thoughts.
This space is all about passion and growth 🌱

1/ More women are gaining access to education.
But is that progress actually translating into equal opportunities in the workforce?
That question inspired my latest data visualisation project. 🧵
5/ This shows that education is important, but it is only part of the picture.
Access to opportunities, care responsibilities, economic conditions, workplace policies, and social expectations also play a major role.
6/ I built the interactive dashboard using:
• Python
• Pandas
• Matplotlib
• Seaborn
• Streamlit
You can explore the project here:

I would love to know what stands out to you from the data.

Finally completed the project
women-education-workforce.st…
Working on another data project except this time I’m using a very large dataset.
And I am trying to understand the cleaning technique before proceeding with visualization.
Would share the project soon.

1/ Why do women stop using contraceptives?
That question started as a simple data visualization idea, but the more I explored it, the more curious I became.
So, I built “Why Women Stop,” an interactive dashboard exploring women’s contraceptive experiences. 🧵
4/ This is one of my first steps towards using data and AI to explore women’s health, an area I am becoming increasingly interested in.
The project is not perfect, but I am proud of what I learned while building it.
See the project here: github.com/Hajaramusa-yusuf/…
I would love to hear your thoughts 💜

Little Matplotlib update 📊
I’ve been learning it with DataCamp and honestly, it’s starting to make sense now 😂
From line plots and bar charts to labels, legends, subplots and stacked charts, I’m slowly learning how to make data tell a clear story.
A month later, a lot has happened! I secured a 6-month internship with Flexisaf on the Generative AI pathway. So far, I’ve built Tic-Tac-Toe and Rock-Paper-Scissors in Python, explored data with NumPy and Pandas, and I’m now learning data visualization with Matplotlib. 🚀
The semester is finally over
I’m back to coding!
My 6-month internship will start soon. I’ve decided to focus on AI, so I just started learning Python. I’m really excited for this new chapter. Anyone else learning AI or Python? Let’s grow together #Python #AI #CodingJourney
