2/ In the process of blockchain becoming the “next internet,” there have been countless attempts, but @base marked the real turning point — backed by @coinbase's trust, OP Stack, and Onchain Summer, it spread real usability and culture beyond technical experiments. It has always been my thesis that when the BPs unwound the governance structures in EOS some 6 months after it launched, the fix was in. It lasted another 6 months before its price collapsed as insiders realised...the workers had left.
