Soldiers would hide in areas where civilians hadn't been evacuated, then shoot Palestinians who unknowingly approached. When others came to help the wounded, they were shot too.
Five, six, seven people dead.
The military report? "Seven terrorists eliminated."
He says his brigade killed around 160 to 170 people in the Netzarim corridor, despite encountering no Hamas attacks during that period.
And according to him, virtually all were recorded as terrorists without evidence that they were armed.
He's one of ten soldiers who spoke to Der Spiegel.

After we were forcibly displaced from northern Gaza to the south for two consecutive years, the Israeli occupation army supposedly allowed us to return to our lands and homes in northern Gaza.
But it was one of the greatest deceptions in human history! When we finally managed to return, we discovered that we could access only a tiny fraction of our own lands and cities.
Israel had seized control of and annexed 70% of Gazaโs territory, turning it into military zones that threaten to kill the last of us still struggling to survive.
To this very moment, we remain forcibly displaced, denied access to our own homes, lands, and cities, all of which have been placed behind the so-called Yellow Lines.

Can't believe 60 Minutes actually put this on air. Mainstream American TV just walked into the West Bank and showed settlers moving in, cutting off a family from their own house, and attacking them when they tried to go back.
