Gabriel £27m, Saliba £27m, White £50m, Timber £34m, Calafiori £42m, Hincapié £34.5m, Mosquera £13m.
The difference is Arsenal have identified players with potential and developed them into top players, rather than just consistently bankrolling ready made, world class players like City have done.
I'm genuinely trying to understand how Arsenal have managed to build an entire army of defenders. Gabriel, Saliba, White, Timber, Calafiori, Hincapié, Mosquera and now Konsa?
No FFP restrictions? No concerns about financial breaches? No questions about how all this spending is being funded? I thought we had financial rules in this league. Or do those rules only apply when it's Manchester City?

Arsenal, boiling piss since 1886. And it’s fucking glorious
Long may it continue

Amused by the cognitive dissonance of all the league 2 hard men saying 'that's just a proper tackle. Game's gone if that's not allowed', whilst simultaneously clutching their pearls and smelling salts over Dowman's, pretty tame, reaction
Comical performance but if there’s one to get knocked out of early it’s deffo the league cup. We’ll surely benefit from this later on in the season.
Saliba 29th
Gabriel 21st
Rice 15th
Arsenal win the Premier League and reach the Champions League final and none of our players make the Ballon d’Or top 10😭
What more were our defenders supposed to do? 26 clean sheets for Saliba last season and he finishes 29th.
Make it make sense.
