Scholarship applications are now open for the last 4 spots of this inaugural Jon Anik Broadcasting Seminar. JABS feels like the biggest initiative of my professional life, and I couldn’t be more excited to bring this vision to reality and open the doors for the next generation of sports broadcasters. For decades, I’ve been blessed to call some of the biggest moments in combat sports history, sit Octagon-side for world title fights, and work with the finest production teams in the world. As rewarding as that journey has been, nothing compares to the chance to pass the torch, pull back the curtain, and give back to a broadcasting community that has given me so much. This isn’t just another workshop—it is a comprehensive, high-intensity immersion into the craft, the discipline, and the business of sports broadcasting. We are bringing together established industry professionals and passionate, aspiring talents under one roof for an unprecedented, two-day masterclass. Whether it’s mastering live play-by-play execution, refining fight-week preparation, content creation, or building an authentic personal brand, JABS is designed to give you the blueprint to thrive in this competitive, cutthroat industry. Stepping into this role and spearheading this project represents a massive personal and professional milestone for me. I’m pouring my entire play-by-play preparation, every lesson learned from the booth, and the full weight of my network into making this event a game changer for everyone who attends. December can’t come soon enough...see you in Las Vegas.
