📣 We're excited to announce High Performance SQLite, a video course coming in June. You can't have a fast app with a slow database! But database education isn't really made for the modern developer. With help from @tursodatabase, we're going to change that.

Here's a quick #Git tip - Interactive Rebasing! When working on feature branches or preparing code for a pull request, interactive rebasing lets you tidy up your commit history. 🧹🧼 Interactive rebasing lets you present a polished and well-organized commit history, making it easier for collaborators to review your code and understand the evolution of your work. ➡️ Combine Commits: Squash multiple commits into a single, coherent commit, providing a cleaner history. 📊 Reorder Commits: Change the order of commits to make the history more logical and understandable. ✏️ Edit Commit Messages: Refine commit messages for clarity and consistency. #coding #programming #git #rebasing #softwaredeveloper #softwaredevelopment #PRs #codingtips #codinglife #programmer #codingmeme #codinghumor #devmeme

Thinking frontend development is the easy way into a career in software development is like thinking playing country music is the easy way into the music business.

GM🫡 Today we want to ask for HELP to the amazing open source community.🚨 As you may know (or not), some wallet apps take a lot of time to load, Peach being one of them. This is something we cannot directly solve, as the problem comes directly from the BDK library @bitcoindevkit . The guys developing it are absolute beasts, but as everyone in this space, their time and resources are not infinite. We'd like to call any open source dev (better if he/she knows RUST) who would like to contribute to this problem that's affecting many different Bitcoin wallets in the space. If we cannot make apps that are usable for the general public, we will never reach to a broader audience. This is not just about Peach, but about Bitcoin adoption and development. So please, if you know someone who has some RUST knowledge, and would like to contribute to this amazing Open Source project, BDK, send us a DM📩 Share this tweet to reach a broader audience please, we'll really appreciate it.🙏

How should you type React Props? You've got three options. type, interface or an inline object literal. Inline object literals might be fast to write, but it means you can't extract the type out for use elsewhere in your codebase: This makes them hard to recommend. So, interface vs type again. As I've said before, I prefer type. But let's say you're building an input that needs to take all the props of 'input', but with an extra label. For those cases, you must use interfaces: Using an intersection here will slow down TypeScript on the scale of a large codebase. interface extends is the way to go. This means that it's a good idea to get into the habit of using interfaces for each prop declaration. I recommend using a code snippet to declare the interface for you: All the speed of an object literal, but all the reusability and TS performance of an interface.

during a code review, if you leave a nit and your nit is fine to be ignored don't leave it you clutter the pr you distract from any real issues your preferences are just that, stfu and make a prettier / eslint / clangformat rule and move on with your day
