The decision wasn't to “promote the murder's message,” explained @EzraLevant, “but because the regime is lying about it.”
Montreal police say three people are dead, including an officer, a civilian, and the gunman, following a shooting in the Côte-des-Neiges neighbourhood. Another officer also sustained serious injuries in the attack.
The gunman, Seth Scott Hatfield, was a philosophy student from the University of Lethbridge. Hatfield opened fire outside the headquarters of Aylo, the parent company for adult website Pornhub, before engaging with police.
Authorities later revealed that Hatfield left behind a 104-page manifesto written weeks before the attack. The document, steeped in 'incel' and radical left-wing ideology, was referred to but not published by mainstream outlets. But Rebel News also obtained the document and published it in full.
On Tuesday night's episode of The Ezra Levant Show, the Rebel Commander explained why making the manifesto public was necessary.
“The media, when they found out his motivations, lied about it,” Ezra said plainly. “That, my friends, is why Rebel News published the truth.”
Reports initially mentioned the manifesto and even referred to certain passages. But the attacker's name was not mentioned, “and during that time his social media was scrubbed, so it could not be seen by the public,” something Ezra said bothers him because he wants to see what the murderer, in this case, had written.
The media referred to Hatfield as being an “incel,” a term meaning a person who is involuntarily celibate. Ezra said he read this reference from many in the regime media, which caused him to wonder why “handpicked journalists” were being given the manifesto.
It also raised suspicions about what the media might not be telling the public. “They want us to think that this terrorist is an incel, but they're not showing us the proof,” he said.
But late Monday evening, Ezra said he too received a copy of Hatfield's 104-page manifesto — and then made the decision to publish it in full.
The decision wasn't to “promote the murder's message,” he explained, “but because the regime is lying about it.”
The attack wasn't purely about misogyny, like so many of the mainstream media's reports suggested. Following Rebel News' publication of the full-length manifesto, Juno News counted 860 references to Marxist terms like bourgeois, proletarian, communism and socialism along with Israel, Zionism and Jews.
“Do you see what I mean? We were told he was an incel,” he said. “He was a communist. Why did all these leaks say he was an incel, implying he was right wing? Why wouldn't they talk about his endless repetition of Marxist language?”
Ezra then went on to detail the numerous lengthy passages in Hatfield's manifesto espousing leftist ideology, including mentions of his positive view of communist authoritarians like Joseph Stalin and Mao Zedong.

People making the case for censorship often urge that destructive manias like this can be suppressed/soothed if we prevent people from communicating about them. And here was a perfect case: false information was being recklessly (or maliciously) amplified, leading to literal hate crimes. Shouldn’t the censors do something?
But the mass-grave craze infected the censorship class, so opposition got targeted instead. At least one “disinformation” NGO categorized skepticism as “hate speech,” and Canada even saw efforts to criminalize so-called “denialism” (drawing an absurd comparison to the Holocaust).

Comme vous le savez peut-être, Fatima a consacré sa vie à prendre soin des tout-petits dans des CPE et est intervenue publiquement à quelques reprises pour dénoncer les dérives religieuses dans certains CPE de Laval qui devenaient des garderies « à vocation islamique servant une population presque exclusivement musulmane ». À l’origine, elle affirme avoir choisi de s’établir au Québec « pour la laïcité, pour l’égalité homme-femme, pour la liberté de conscience, pour la neutralité de l’État » qui, à ses yeux, sont garants d’une paix sociale.
L’annonce de sa candidature au Parti Québécois a entrainé des menaces et de la haine explicite et dont les racines résident clairement dans le fondamentalisme religieux :
- « Allez-y faites le nécessaire » ce à quoi plusieurs personnes répondent qu’ils s’en occupent et « nous allons lui rendre ca en double ».
- « Elle habite où celle-là? »
- « Ils vont bientôt l’éliminer »
- Des références au Coran sur les « hypocrites » et les « traitres » en appelant à ce que « Dieu s’en charge ».
- Invoquant Allah, certains l’associent aux « mécréants » et à de la « vermine ». On peut également lire des propos tels que « nous la jetterons aux poubelles de l’histoire » ou encore que « la chaussure de Dieu s’abattra sur elle ».
Devant ce déferlement de haine, Fatima a dû saisir les autorités policières. Or, elle m’indique que, bien que la police de Laval lui ait suggéré de se doter de caméras de surveillance et de considérer se relocaliser (elle est candidate dans sa circonscription !?!), elle n’a pas obtenu un engagement que la police allait rencontrer les personnes qui ont proféré ces menaces, ce qui est parfaitement incompréhensible et inacceptable. J’ai donc demandé une rencontre aujourd’hui avec la cheffe de la police de Laval.
Ceci est une attaque frontale et explicite à notre démocratie. Je suis profondément bouleversé par cette situation, ma famille et moi ayant nous-mêmes vécu ce genre de menace. Rappelons-nous également des menaces que Fatima Houda Pépin et Marwah Rizqy ont dû subir par ces mêmes islamistes radicaux. Fermer les yeux ou banaliser des menaces sur des élus ou sur des candidats aux élections serait une grave erreur.
Je ne ménagerai donc aucun effort pour défendre madame Aboubakr et nous ne laisserons jamais qui que ce soit l'intimider. J’espère également que les autorités, autant que les élus, en particulier les autres chefs de partis, enverront un signal clair que ce comportement ne passe pas dans notre société.

Earlier today, the U.S. Department of Justice announced the arrest of Mohammad Baqer Saad Dawood Al-Saadi, a 32-year-old Iraqi national and senior commander of Kata’ib Hizballah, an Iran-backed Shia militia designated a Foreign Terrorist Organization since 2009.
Al-Saadi is charged with directing at least 20 terror attacks in Canada and Europe since late February - including a shooting at the U.S. consulate and an attack on a synagogue in Toronto.
Once again, we’re thanking the Americans for having our six. We rely on FBI undercover operations and American courtroom disclosures to learn that our own cities were attacked by a foreign terrorist network.
This is a dangerous sovereignty failure which should be unacceptable to every Canadian, regardless of political stripe.

The real migrant population is much higher. This refugee burden is the leading cause of social dysfunction in America, something that did not exist after World War II (Failed schools, high crime, urban decay, overcrowded hospitals, housing shortages, and large deficits, etc.). As an example, hundreds of thousands of refugees from Somalia are completely taking over the once great State of Minnesota. Somalian gangs are roving the streets looking for “prey” as our wonderful people stay locked in their apartments and houses hoping against hope that they will be left alone. The seriously retarded Governor of Minnesota, Tim Walz, does nothing, either through fear, incompetence, or both, while the worst “Congressman/woman” in our Country, Ilhan Omar, always wrapped in her swaddling hijab, and who probably came into the U.S.A. illegally in that you are not allowed to marry your brother, does nothing but hatefully complain about our Country, its Constitution, and how “badly” she is treated, when her place of origin is a decadent, backward, and crime ridden nation, which is essentially not even a country for lack of Government, Military, Police, schools, etc. Even as we have progressed technologically, Immigration Policy has eroded those gains and living conditions for many. I will permanently pause migration from all Third World Countries to allow the U.S. system to fully recover, terminate all of the millions of Biden illegal admissions, including those signed by Sleepy Joe Biden’s Autopen, and remove anyone who is not a net asset to the United States, or is incapable of loving our Country, end all Federal benefits and subsidies to noncitizens of our Country, denaturalize migrants who undermine domestic tranquility, and deport any Foreign National who is a public charge, security risk, or non-compatible with Western Civilization. These goals will be pursued with the aim of achieving a major reduction in illegal and disruptive populations, including those admitted through an unauthorized and illegal Autopen approval process. Only REVERSE MIGRATION can fully cure this situation.
