Too many collab managers judge a community by raffle entry count alone, prioritizing servers that generate the most engagement and pre-mint hype. But high entry numbers are often inflated by giveaway farmers, and they rarely reflect the quality of participants.
Many smaller private alpha groups have lower raffle entries because they're curated, not because they're inactive. These communities are made up of experienced collectors and traders who are selective about what they mint. At @PulseAnchor, most of our members are OGs who have been through multiple NFT market cycles. They don't just enter giveaways and mint, they also buy, place bids, and provide real liquidity on the secondary market long after launch.
The same goes for many other private alpha communities. They may not deliver thousands of raffle entries, but they consistently bring in participants who understand the market and actively trade.
Vanity metrics might help a project look good before mint, but experienced/quality participants are what help keep a collection alive afterward. If long-term volume and a healthy secondary market are the goal, don't overlook the smaller private communities that have been quietly contributing to the ecosystem for years.

Two new $ONLY utilities are live: custom-art saves and Atelier access.
Here is what changed, what each feature costs, and how ONLY is used across Only Traits today.
THE TWO NEW UPDATES
Custom-art saves — 20,000 ONLY
Saving an NFT build containing custom art now requires 20,000 ONLY, sent to the Atelier reward vault. This includes builds retaining previously saved custom art.
Drawing, drafts and exports remain free of this fee. Official-trait-only saves have no ONLY fee. Network gas is separate. Paying the fee does not automatically validate artwork for Atelier.
Atelier access — hold 100,000 ONLY
Keep at least 100,000 ONLY in your connected wallet to enter. This is a holding requirement, not an entry payment: nothing is spent, staked or locked.
Your wallet is verified each visit. A validated custom-art NFT is still required to activate a room.
OTHER CURRENT ONLY UTILITIES
Fusion / Super Artists — progressive fee
Burn selected donor NFTs to increase the surviving artist's Atelier Power. Trait Power remains unchanged.
The first Fusion per wallet has no ONLY fee. The second costs 20,000 ONLY. Each subsequent Fusion increases the fee by 20%:
24,000 → 28,800 → 34,560 ONLY…
Donor NFT burns are permanent. The first Fusion is not a free NFT upgrade: the donor NFTs are still consumed, and network gas still applies.
Artist commissions — variable price
Commission custom artwork with payment held in escrow until verified onchain delivery. The artist receives 95%; the project fee is 5%.
NFT rentals — price per listing
Rent eligible NFTs for use in Atelier. The total depends on the listing's daily rate and rental duration. Owners receive 100% of the rental payment; platform fee: 0%.
Auto Ration — 10,000 ONLY per room / 24 hours
Automatic feeding for up to 12 artists in a room.
Aura Tonic — 15,000 ONLY per room / 24 hours
SAN support for up to 12 artists in a room.
Climate control — 15,000 ONLY per room / 24 hours
Activate the room's regulator to counter biome-related painting slowdowns.
Tukka — 250–2,500 ONLY per spin
Play using real ONLY. Winnings are not guaranteed.
Atelier rewards — variable amount
Redeem eligible settled Art Points for funded ONLY rewards. The amount depends on available funding and participation. Art Points are not ONLY, and there is no fixed return.

I’ve been spending a lot of time inside the Atelier, and there’s way more going on here than just holding the NFTs.
Here’s how it works:
1/ Every Only Traits NFT has a Power trait.
Power determines how quickly your NFT paints.
Higher Power = faster painting
Faster painting = more points
Those points can then be burned and converted into $ONLY.
So the NFTs actually have something to do inside the Atelier.
15/ I'm not telling anyone to blindly buy this.
I'm sharing what I'm personally doing.
74 NFTs. 6 rooms. Working toward 8.
The collection is much more interesting once you actually understand what the NFTs are being used for.
If you haven't looked into Only Traits yet, I'd recommend actually checking out the Atelier before making a decision.
