RIP Barry Melrose man, one of the all time legends around the game. Enjoyed watching him talk hockey throughout my entire childhood. As much as I joked around about his gigantic suits and how there were potentially apartment complexes housing people inside his suit pants, the style and flavor he brought to the rink/broadcast was the best and always fun to see. This one stings.

Let’s see.
The PHPA’s original ask was a 20% increase in wages, the ECHL’s offer was 4%. The tentative agreement calls for a 20% increase. Also, mandatory day off every 7 days. 2 days off after 3 in 3’s. All Star and holiday breaks extended.
