Tank Bigsby is my play today. Back to the well with Tank. This matchup sets up nicely for a potential workload spike, especially if the Eagles take control early. I like this angle for a few reasons. The Eagles should be able to put up points, and a blowout is certainly in play against a Bears team with a QB with just 60 combined NFL pass attempts over the last five years. Philadelphia should be able to lean on the run game. I expect Tank to see 3 or 4 carries in a normal game script, but if this turns into a blowout, he could see an increased workload, potentially taking some of the load off Saquon Barkley as he returns from injury. I’m sticking strictly to the step ladder here. I wouldn’t recommend going over 20 yards with any significant unit size. The NFL needs to introduce a MOMENTUM CHALLENGE. One per team, per game. Let coaches challenge missed calls, phantom flags, and blatant penalties that somehow go unnoticed. We’re all tired of games being decided by phantom pass interference calls and obvious facemasks that apparently require a telescope to spot. Too many games have completely different outcomes because a guy in stripes makes a split second decision that turns out to be spectacularly wrong. Give each team ONE chance to challenge a call that could change the game. If we’re going to let the officials decide the outcome, at least give the coaches a chance to overrule them.
