They broke Eisenhower’s globe because they didn’t want to wait for a team of specialist historians to move it.
I cannot think of a more apt metaphor for Pete Hegseth’s DoD.

Lmao the amount of people in the comments defending this guy. Is he a fucking child to react that way? To physically swipe at a medical trainer? This is why so many boys never grow up to be men. They are defended and babied by other boys who never became men.
Please get up there Laura! A waterlogged corpse with Mara Lago face is exactly how to represent this administration!!

Bro we need your vote.
I hate the war too.
But the Democrats want to trans your kids.
When I vote for a Democrat, @DavidJollyFL, for the first time in my 41 years of life this November, it will not be because my values have changed, but because my party has abandoned our values for the sycophancy of a transactional leader who has none.
I made a personal commitment to vote for @MBeltranFL when he first considered this #FL16 race, and I want to keep my word, but I’m a few more red hats, Trump mailers, and fill-ups away from taking a mulligan and voting for @KathyCastorFL.
Why? Because Mike, for whatever reason, has made @realDonaldTrump his identity in this race instead of the principled conservative independence that set him apart in Tallahassee.

If/when Dems take over, they need to launch investigations into Brendan Carr’s abuse of the FCC
BREAKING: Jimmy Kimmel announces his interview with Texas Democratic Senate candidate James Talarico will NOT air on ABC tomorrow, saying Trump’s FCC has threatened him, his show, ABC, its affiliates, and local stations over “simple traditional editorial decisions” and guest bookings.
Kimmel says the full interview will instead be posted to YouTube: “In the America we live in right now, that is the best that we can do until November.”
You can tell they intuit that nazis are better people than migrants.
Why else would they feel confident writing this before a quick fact check?

Yes! I moved to LA fifteen years ago to be a television writer, creating a show that shot on the Fox lot. And then I started a business with two friends that employs about a HUNDRED people in Hollywood. If you view this as a mistake, I'm sad to hear that from Karen Bass's team.
We can see LA as you do - a static and shrinking place, where everyone competes with each other for limited housing, setting "newcomers" against latino communities, or homeowners against renters, etc. etc.
Or we can see LA as a vibrant welcoming place, affordable for families that have been here for generations and for young people who want to take a chance on their dreams here.
That is possible, but we have to build and grow! And we can't accept so much inaction and failure and mismanagement, and excuses that try to guilt people for demanding better from the government!
It’s true Jon Lovett is new to Los Angeles moving here in 2011, for those keeping score Nithya moved to LA in 2013, nothing wrong with that, however, they moved here during one of the largest Latino displacement in LA history at the time. You can read this article in 2017 newsweek.com/2017/06/02/los-… and read my little picture. But Mike, the LA city govt should have just made it easier for more housing to be built. Well in 2008 we had this mortgage crisis, where large banks couldnt fail and NO one was able to get financing or credit to build anything. So hip cool kids displaced Latino families, the largest impact being in councilman Eric Garcetti’s district. As a city commissioner I said all these things during our public meetings. But yeah “if only LA was able to build more Mike wouldn’t be complaining.” Nahh the world froze during our almost depression where several trillions dollars disappeared from the market overnight. You recall all of this happening in LA right Coconut Tree?
