We are all frustrated. And I understand the impulse of wanting to say stuff like this. That said, this kind of message is really not helpful. The truth is the following: The UK is still alive. Not well, but alive. France is still alive. Not well, but alive. Sweden is still alive. Not well, but alive. (the list goes on) The truth is that, unless a miracle happens, restoring order will take a long time and a lot of hard, boring, not-very-glamorous or spectacular work. Just a grind in shifting the Moral Framework and a grind in capturing positions of power (in political parties and in the legal system). I, and probably most of you, understand that this women posts this as a way to ventilate her frustration. But there might just be an impressionable and sensitive young man who sees this and thinks to himself that it is indeed over. And with that belief his motivation to work hard for the coming decades will undoubtably be reduced. In conclusion, we are all in a bad position, but restoring order is far from impossible, and to say that our countries are dead is simply not true.
