Since when did taxi drivers think it’s fine to subject people to their terrible music?

If the Barbie movie doesn’t contain the Aqua song then they’ve missed out on a trick there!

In 1999, a little book by @KentBeck started explaining Extreme Programming (XP) to the masses. 23 years later, it's still true to every word. But we, the developers, chose to ignore half of its learnings. In this thread 🧵I'll fix that for you. 👇👇👇

I never knew this: The common ampersand ("&") represents the Latin conjunction et, meaning "and". The ampersand's symbol is a ligature, joining the old handwritten Latin letters e and t of the word et, so that the word is represented as a single glyph.
Can anyone recommend any Manchester based tech companies (preferably Central Manchester) that would take a Computer Forensics & Security MMU student for a placement year? Remote placements may also work!

We’re writing a JSON stack as part of .NET Core 3.0. We’ll have a reader/writer, a JSON DOM and a full serializer. It’s the first JSON parser I’ve seen that supports async without a huge performance hit and I haven’t seen any third party json library do this.
