Apparently horse racing isn’t complicated enough!!!!!
@hisa_us voted UNANIMOUSLY to continue allowing Lasix for horses 3 and older in non-stakes races. Their own scientific review found no evidence supporting the claim that Lasix is a performance-enhancing drug.
But the @BreedersCup decides that at their event, even ALLOWANCE horses can’t use Lasix???
So a horse can use Lasix in an allowance race on a normal racing day @Keeneland, but NOT during Breeders’ Cup weekend???
We have the top trainers, owners, and best horsemen in the game, and close to 20% of the horses entered will end up scratched by the time this weekend is over!!!!!
Put these same horses ion a Wednesday card at Aqueduct, and I bet 95% of them are running!!!!!
So apparently, horses that are healthy enough to run during the week aren’t good enough to run on Breeders’ Cup weekend???

The @jockeyclub, Breeders’ Cup, and HISA don’t give a shit about trainers, horseman, jockeys, horseplayers, fans, etc.

BREAKING: Colleague @davidspunt reports via two sources familiar that there is an ongoing DOJ "aggressive criminal investigation" into Daniel J. Sullivan appearing on the ballot for US Senate in Alaska, and the investigation has intensified in the wake of the bombshell NYT report today.
DOJ sources tell David that multiple grand jury subpoenas will be issued in the coming hours and days, and there are preservation orders to cell phone companies that are being prepared regarding text messages and emails that may build a timeline for how Daniel J. Sullivan was placed on the ballot.
The investigation is being handled by the U.S. Attorney's Office in Alaska and federal prosecutors are interested in potential charges relating to the depravation of rights of Alaska voters. The investigation is expected to go beyond Election Day and has been underway for several months.
Both Minnesota and California prove, per the news today, that elections are indeed rigged. For the @GOP @HouseGOP @SenateGOP to win, they must win in a landslide, as @POTUS did in 2024.

Once you vote in communism, you cannot vote it out. I can see how absurd this election was, you can see how absurd it is and the people who did this know how absurd it looks.
The absurdity is a feature, not a bug. It’s them telling you that votes don’t matter once they have power. They want you to feel that powerlessness. All that matters is who’s willing to use more force. They stay in power until that balance tips, the pot boils over and people revolt. By that point a lot of people suffer or die.
Don’t make the same mistake Brazil did by allowing Lula to take power in the first place.
Be as mad as you want at your narcissistic RINO congressman and yeah go ahead and hate a few decisions the President makes but by God, get out and vote Republican.
We can bring in new voices and ideas during the primaries but we can’t do that if we let communism in the door via apathy or anger that led us to relinquish our votes. The alternative is so, so, so much worse. Once you let them in, there’s no voting your way out.
My family is from Cuba and they learned the hard way… You however still have a chance to avoid the hard way. Go vote. Then we can fight out the ideological war during the next primary.
The survival of American and capitalism matter more than purity tests. Do those in primaries. Anything less than voting Republican to keep the communists out is selfish and it’s signing up your children to inherit the hollowed out corpse of America, with a tombstone that says "here she lies, the greatest country to ever exist, sentenced to death as a sacrifice to our own narcissism. We really thought we knew better and were making a point by not voting."
And yes, I know we have a LOT of work to do, but right now, we have 2ish years to prevent a total communist takeover of our Country from the DSA via the Democrat Party. We’re on the clock and some things are bigger than our intrafamily squabbling and egos.
It’s in our hands if our flag is the next to burn into a shadow of itself, or not. Choose wisely. 🇺🇸

California could participate in the Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements (SAVE) program, which has been around since 1986, if they wanted to verify citizenship, but the sanctuary state actively chooses not to. It’s been used verify citizenship for benefits since the 80s, and California used to participate.

NEW: Los Angeles County elections officials confirm in court filing that they have no way to verify U.S. citizenship for voters and they rely solely on a voter’s attestation when they check yes or no to being a U.S. citizen under penalty of perjury. This is part of ongoing lawsuit w/ Feds.
Massive concession: Los Angeles election officials just told a federal court they have no independent way to verify citizenship beyond what voters attest. (They simply take their word for it.) Under federal law, only citizens may vote in federal elections. Yet California has not acted on the list of 20,000 suspected noncitizens or agreed to set aside their ballots. American citizens’ votes are being diluted in California.
As Bones mentioned in the 2024 prez election, the MAGA vote and Black vote are surprisingly aligned. That spells doom for @AbdulElSayed in MI and @jamestalarico in TX.
