It's not isolation until symptoms fully subside (grey bar on top), but until symptoms 'improve' which for many people happens very early. Especially children- who have milder symptoms. Our daughter's symptoms improved on day 2- tested +ve on RAT upto day 8.
I'll respectfully disagree with my friend @EricTopol
CDC does not have a "no isolation" guideline
Its guideline is to isolate until symptoms are clearly improving
In the paper Eric cites, there is another useful graph
It shows that as symptoms abate, so does infectious virus
