A Berkeley chemical engineer who suffered years of unexplained illness discovered through a spy camera from Amazon that her coworker, David Xu, was poisoning her food and water with cadmium, a toxic heavy metal for nearly 18 months between 2017 and 2019. The victim experienced significant health problems and at times required emergency care at a hospital. Newly released video shows Xu appearing to put a substance in her water bottle in 2019. Xu was arrested that year and charged with attempted murder and two counts of poisoning, offenses that could have sent him to prison for life. But under a plea deal, the attempted murder charge and one poisoning count were dropped. Xu pleaded no contest to one felony poisoning charge and received two years of probation, with credit for one day served. He completed probation in March and is now seeking to have his felony conviction dismissed.

Perhaps we need a “Stop Gavin Newsom Act”
🚨 It’s official the “Stop Nick Shirley Act” AB 2624 is now law in California. This bill was created by the Attorney General’s WIFE after I exposed widespread fraud inside immigrant communities in America and now they want to penalize journalists and citizens for looking into potential fraud inside of “immigration support service providers”. Enough is enough, how much longer will you let these people get away with this? Show up to the Sacramento Capitol on Wednesday at 11am, see you there 🫡 Share this around. Fun fact, Newsom has directed over $300 million to nonprofits while governor and AG Rob Bonta when he was an assemblyman directed over $500,000 to nonprofits associated with his wife 🤔

First, Mamdami wanted $70 million for government owned grocery stores. Now, he wants money to subsidize the grocery stores he’s putting out of business. Socialist Democrats want the government to decide who wins and who loses—and your tax dollars will pay for it. nypost.com/2026/08/20/us-new…

Next up: those who have more than $10 million. After that more than $1 million
Abdul El-Sayed now says "we've got to start taxing wealth for people who have over $100 million" He previously said he would only confiscate assets from billionaires

Step 1. Make Amazon a vertically integrated company Step 2. Claim it is too big, important, and vertically integrated while prices are too high so it must be government owned
If it looks like an Amazon delivery and drives like an Amazon delivery, then it's an Amazon delivery, right? Not according to Amazon. Big companies like Amazon have built a vast network of subcontractors who deliver their packages while shielding them from accountability. It leaves our workers unprotected and our streets less safe. It's time for a change. I'm proud to support the Delivery Protection Act to crack down on exploitative subcontracting and build an economy that works for everyone.

A spectacularly stupid plan.
Mamdani announces city-run groceries will set prices *30%* below retail. Typical grocery margins are 2%. Meaning: First, the city will lose ungodly amounts of money -- at least 28 cents on the dollar. Second, below-cost stores will steal enough market share that real groceries abandon the city. Third, taxpayers will get tired of the money hole and slash subsidies. At which point city groceries become money holes full of rotting food, so New Yorkers will have to take 2 trains and a bus to find a real grocery store. Socialism will work this time 🙌

Never elect a politician who: (1) sees your money as his slush fund, (2) loves Karl Marx, or (3) uses French words like “pied-à-terre” to disguise new, confiscatory taxes he wants to impose to redistribute wealth.
If you have a second home in New York City worth more than $5M, check your mailbox when you’re back in the five boroughs — because you've got mail. Today, we sent notification letters to property owners, letting them know that our new pied-à-terre tax is coming soon. The best city in the world deserves the best parks, libraries, and schools in the world. That's only possible when we all pay our fair share.
