The biggest issue with the consumer shopping agents being built is that they are built by men who don't shop. The sample prompts are nowhere close to how women discover & buy products. Technology folks forget the most important thing when buying something is the brand.

The future is a merchant product that makes one’s inventory available via MCP / headlessly and accepts agent payments.
I suspect shipping can be done thru fedex/ups/usps direct from merchant at similar cost when you strip out the Amazon take rate (ie merchant can spend more if needed to ship quickly).
The moat isn’t what it is anymore. That is why they are blocking.

Anthropic IPO prospectus leaked to Reuters
Anthropic reported a net loss of $42 billion in 2025, and plans to spend $518 billion on cloud, computing and infrastructure obligations in coming year, according to the prospectus.
The prospectus details how the company has grown sharply in the last year — while also posting wider losses. Revenue grew 12-fold in 2025 to nearly $4.6 billion, even as the company lost more than $8 billion on an operating basis, excluding writedowns of various liabilities mostly tied to previous fundraising, according to the documents, reported here for the first time.

Kevin Durant and his business partner, Rich Kleiman, invested in Hugging Face's seed & Series A fundraising rounds.
Nvidia just acquired the company for $12.9 billion, and since I'm told Durant invested $100,000 in the seed round and $150,000 in the Series A, he likely made more than $60 million on this investment alone.
That is one of the best athlete investments ever (and more money than Durant will make playing in the NBA this season).

YouTube is in advanced talks with the NBA to create a single streaming hub for local team broadcasts starting in the 2027-28 season, per SBJ.
The NBA is targeting at least 25 teams in Year 1, with as many as 29 potentially joining.
If all 29 participate, the league is reportedly seeking around $1.2B.
A smaller group of 25 teams or fewer could bring the deal closer to $850M.

Meanwhile, @bobbyhundreds launches a Disney tee and 75,000 people show up for the drop.
They showed up because of their connection to Bobby as an artist, the community he’s built, and the nostalgia of Disney.
AI may make creation infinite. But it can’t make human connection, community, taste, or nostalgia infinite.
That’s not going away in 18 months.
