Our research group was well represented at the 2026 ESSE Conference (@Essenglish). We are grateful to the organisers for creating a space to share new ideas and research, including LAP’s recent work on the notion of multiple geographies as part of our latest funded project.

The 2026 ESSE Conference started off strong with the seminar “‘Cut and Paste’: Modalities or Assemblage in Victorian and Neo-Victorian Studies”, convened by LAP member Rosario Arias alongside Patricia Pulham, Béatrice Laurent, and Anna Kérchy.

We are delighted to share with you the logo of our new funded research project “Women Staging and Re-Staging Multiple Geographies in Anglophone Cultures (1800-2000s)” (CIAICO/2024/076). The constellation represents the multidirectional journeys around which the project revolves. xitter.cf/group_lap/status/20925…
