TWEEPS: MAGA wants to talk about healthcare fraud? Let's talk about trump pardoning Medicaid and Medicare fraudsters to the tune of $1.3 BILLION DOLLARS, without having to pay back A DIME, while working families lose their coverage. #GOPWarOnHealthcare

Republicans are sick! They just voted to block a Democratic resolution calling for the State Department to release a report in the deaths of 9 Americans in the West Bank. First the Epstein coverup. Now this? Vote them out next month! Vote only Democrat.

Sen. @amyklobuchar: We have confirmed that you were right, Mr. Smith. The Iowa Hawkeyes played Maryland on February 3, 2024. The final score was 93-85. Iowa won and Caitlin Clark scored 30 points, so it must've been a pretty good game. The game was, in fact, in Maryland. For a US senator to have false information and imply that you were in another city and then call you a 'dirtbag' is something that deserves an apology.
Republican Senator Eric Schmitt tries to force Jack Smith to admit he went to an Atlanta Hawks game (He went to an Iowa Hawkeyes game in Maryland)

If Congressional Republicans wanted the American people to know the truth about Jack Smith's investigation, they would subpoena his report. But they don't. It's easier to attack him, than confront the evidence of the President’s guilt.

CNN: Have you heard from Senator Schmitt as of now? Klobuchar: No, I haven’t.  I haven't heard from him since this moment where he appeared to confuse a male pro sports team with a college team featuring Caitlin Clark. The last time I heard from him, he said, you can't use your time to rehabilitate the witness. And I kind of figured the only one that needs rehabilitating right now is you. Don’t ask questions when you don’t know the answer.

BREAKING: Rep. Jamie Raskin torches MAGA moron Sen. Eric Schmitt after he "utterly humiliated himself" by confusing two basketball teams in a convoluted attempt to catch Jack Smith in a perjury trap. He's never going to live this down... "Look, I mean, as ever with MAGA, we are saved from their absolute malice and evil by their complete incompetence," Raskin said on CNN. "I mean, they went in with the idea of setting a perjury trap for Jack Smith. And in fact, he, Senator Schmitt basically pronounced himself the victor in the middle of his little tirade there, in that Jack Smith had already perjured himself, which was clearly his entire aim. It was completely sinister, but also totally inept and incompetent." The Smith hearing yesterday devolved into viral embarrassment for Schmitt when he asked Smith if he had attended a February 2024 NBA game between the Atlanta Hawks and the Golden State Warriors. His goal was to weave a conspiracy theory in which Smith had traveled to meet with Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis. When Smith said that he had not attended the game in question, Schmitt sprang his "trap" and displayed texts that he claimed placed Smith at the Hawks game. Smith recalled that he had actually attended an Iowa Hawkeyes game in Maryland. The Republican senator had mixed up the Hawks with the Hawkeyes and was so confident in his narrative that he called Smith a "dirtbag” and “villain.” Raskin incinerated him for it on CNN— "And now he's trying to laugh the whole thing off after pronouncing Jack Smith a dirtbag," said the Democratic congressman. "And then you've got, you know, Ted Cruz saying, is it a crime to be a Republican? Of course it's not. Is it a crime to be a prosecutor and to do your job? And see, that is the success of the MAGA strategy here." "They've made all of Jack Smith's testimony about this irrelevant procedural stuff as embarrassing as it is to all the Republicans because they were so dysfunctional in the execution of their plan," he continued. "But they did distract everybody from what Jack Smith was there to testify about, which was essentially why he believed, beyond any reasonable doubt, that Donald Trump was guilty of having incited a violent insurrection and trying to interfere with the federal peaceful transfer of power." And he wasn't done there. "Look, nobody ever heard of Senator Schmitt before, and nobody's going to ever hear of him again," said Raskin. "He's basically disgraced himself and identified himself with this ridiculous little stunt where he thought he was, you know, going to perform some major service to Donald Trump." "And it's all about being, you know, the most obsequious sycophant you can be," he continued. "And he proved that he was. And he doesn't even understand how much that he's utterly humiliated himself in the eyes of the country." We couldn't agree more. Please ❤️ and share to spread Schmitt's shame!

trump's approval on the economy is SO low, Republicans thought the best they could do is remind Americans about trump's January 6th crimes. Cory Booker was 100% right to go off on Republicans trying to sanitize trump's January 6th actions. MORE OF THIS!👏👏👏

Ever since Louie Gohmert retired, I figured Utah Sen. Mike Lee had locked down the crown as the dumbest motherfucker in Congress. Today, that theory got curb-stomped. If there's a more moronic, slack-jawed blithering idiot in the building than Missouri Sen. Eric Schmitt, I honestly don't know who the hell it is.

Jack Smith: "Our nondisclosure orders were not predicated on the idea that members of Congress or members of this committee would commit acts of obstruction. It was based on a real concern that Donald Trump and his associates would do that because they had done it and they did it again. Donald Trump, in our case, in the elections case, later suggested that a witness, General Mark Milley, should be put to death. He said, 'if you come after me, I'm coming after you.' Election workers in Georgia, Ruby Freeman and her daughter, faced vile, racist death threats because of the things that Donald Trump said and how he targeted her. We had an absolute basis to seek protection of our investigation from that sort of obstruction.

🚨 BREAKING: Texas state Rep. Gina Hinojosa has filed an official request to inspect unredacted communications between Gov. Greg Abbott’s office and Elon Musk and his companies, after roughly 1,400 pages of records released last year were heavily redacted. The state previously argued that portions of the communications could be withheld because they contained “intimate and embarrassing information.” In a letter sent to Abbott’s office today, Hinojosa invokes a provision of the Texas Public Information Act governing information requested by lawmakers for legislative purposes. She is seeking the same records previously released to the Texas Newsroom, but “without any redactions whatsoever,” including material deemed “embarrassing” or “intimate.” Hinojosa says the records could shed new light on Musk’s relationship with Abbott, including his companies’ lucrative state contracts and tax incentives, as well as Musk’s campaign contributions. She argues Musk has turned Texas into a corporate playground and says greater transparency is needed to expose what she describes as corruption in Abbott’s relationship with powerful tech interests. She is requesting that Abbott’s office arrange an inspection of both the redacted and unredacted records on or around October 13. Now Texans may finally learn what was considered so “intimate and embarrassing” that it was kept from public view.

TRUMP: Obamacare is terrible; it's bad healthcare. O'DONNELL: But Mr. President, with all due respect, you've been talking about fixing the healthcare insurance plan since 2015. TRUMP: Sure. And you can't do it because of the Democrats. O'DONNELL: Since 2015, you've said you'd fix it. TRUMP: We can make it much less expensive for people and give them much better healthcare. O'DONNELL: But where's that plan? Where's that plan? #GOPWarOnHealthCare

Joe Rogan: Why are you a Democrat? @JamesTalarico: My mother met my birth father, who had a drinking problem that sometimes led to being violent. My mom decided right then and there that she was leaving. She found a little apartment in East Austin and worked double duty at a hotel to provide for us. She saw Texas Democrats like Ann Richards, people who fought for the little guy. That was the classic Democratic Party. I asked my mom what we were, and she was like, ‘We're Democrats, because Democrats fight for the people.’ Our historical legacy is the party that fights for the little guy. That's why I'm a Democrat.
