How is polar bear habitat in Hudson Bay this year? Bad. Red/pink is missing ice. Last week was 20% ice cover & the median is >50%. Polar bears move ashore at ice cover <50% but our tracking data suggests the bears are hanging on to the last ice longer than they used to.
Best speech of the night. Worth your time if you haven't heard it.

Walk slowly. It will keep you calm. And don’t let the one or two students who are off task consume your attention. Otherwise, enjoy seeing students think.
Tomorrow I am doing my first “thinking” lesson on surface area of a rectangular prism! Any last minute advice @pgliljedahl ? #thinkingclassroom #math
