h/t to @ElsenMidco for first highlighting the Coyotes' incredible show of support for a teammate in need. @SDCoyotesWBB.
Bigger than sports. @SDCoyotesWBB

With Ben McCollum seemingly, at long last, on the verge of a D1 job, worth revisiting the thoughts that @statsbywill was kind enough to share with @mid_madness three years ago.

The complete list of #summithoops players since 2010 with multiple career 30+ point games in March:
Mike Daum
Nate Wolters
Matt Mooney
And now, Frankie Fidler
Elite company for the @OmahaMBB star.
Frankie Fidler’s message to doubters in early February: Omaha is here.
@FrankieFidler_ had 34 points and 10 rebounds including this game winning bucket. Omaha plays Denver in @TheSummitLeague semis tomorrow. Stood on business.

It was worth the 5-hour drive just for this. @GoJacksMBB #summithoops
Summit League Tournament? No. William Kyle III Dunk Festival.
midmajormadness.com/2024/3/9…
I'm here to tell you that William Kyle III is the most athletic player to ever don a #summithoops jersey, this is simply a fact.
That'll get the PREMIER Center on its feet! 15-0 run, Jackrabbits.

What started here turned into the Roos' first six-game conference winning streak since 2004-05.
This team is more poised than any in recent memory to keep that run going under knockout circumstances and I hope Kansas City et large takes notice. #summithoops

This is as telling (?) a result as SDSU claiming the title. Coyotes may go one-and-done in Sioux Falls but they're 3-5 in February with 3 of those losses by only 3.33 points.
I have no idea what is going to happen in the tournament and that is beautiful. #summithoops

@SDCoyotesMBB’s @ThiouneLahat’s 12th double-double of the season sparked the Coyotes on Senior Night!!!

The battle for #summithoops!!
Your (most recent) "Tommy Bruner is having an incredible season" @collegebb_ref context:
1 of just 3 players leading their league in ppg & apg
1 of just 4 players averaging at least 20 ppg and 4.5 apg
#summithoops @DU_MensHoops
Who knew there would be another viable candidate for The Tommy Bruner Game™️? #summithoops
.@KCRoosMBB's defensive efficiency (104.3) is creeping toward St. Thomas (104.1) as best in #summithoops. They've made some good scorers earn it over the past two weeks:
T. Bruner (12 points, 23.1% FG)
T. Ihenacho (4 points, 25% FG)
Z. Mayo (19 points, 30.8% FG)
Eaglestaff joins Omot to become the first pair of Fighting Hawks to both post 30-point games in the same season since Geno Crandall and Quinton Hooker in 2016-17.
That's sort of the selling point for UND: plenty of players can beat you. #summithoops
There it is. @KCRoosMBB snaps a 10-game losing streak so South Dakota State, dating back to Nov. 2015 and before they rejoined #summithoops.
Patrick, Travis and Taylor. In Swinney the day after the parade? Against the Jackrabbits? If we believe it, it will happen. #summithoops
.@DU_MensHoops put itself in impressive company by yet again scoring 90+ points in yesterday's win over St. Thomas. This is rudimentary graphic design at its finest. #summithoops
After rightfully highlighting a very good UND team earlier this week, I am now calling on my friends at @mid_madness to shout out Marvin Menzies and @KCRoosMBB for shutting down the Fighting Hawks in a big road win. #summithoops
