#002: Peter Ombwa
Peter Ombwa is a Kenyan software engineer working at Microsoft, one of the world's largest technology companies, where he serves as a Senior Software Engineer based in Redmond, Washington, US.
He works on Microsoft's Graph Developer Experience team, developing tools used by software developers.
Mr. Ombwa studied at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), where he was part of Team Africon, which won the 2014 Microsoft Imagine Cup Kenya competition.
He also co-developed Life Buddy, an application connecting patients in urgent need of blood with compatible donors, and was recognised as Microsoft Africa Developer of the Month in June 2013 and October 2014.
