"Market making on Polymarket seems SO complicated!"
Bro it's really not. You're overcomplicating. I've gotten 50+ DMs about this.
You're "quoting" Bucs + Irving parlay on Polymarket.
> DraftKings offering +700
> Hard Rock offering +799
etc.
Take a weighted average, offer +720 or whatever. Speed is important & not getting "ran over" (e.g. having proper risk limits set up)
You ALL can do this & make money...
Quote bid-ask spreads around fair value (derived from sportsbooks, you don't need to originate), collect the spread & manage risk. It's that simple.
Things to be "wary" of when getting started, which is WHY you start small...
> Adverse selection/"toxic flow"
> Risk/correlated exposure of people on the same bets (set proper risk limits, why you start small before scaling up). Estimate your tail risks properly
> Your point estimate of fair value (use multiple sportsbooks, have proper boundaries)
> Speed (reacting to new information, like injuries, so you don't get run over, esp. if doing this live)
> Spread optimization (e.g. how wide/tight to be)
etc.
Put all this shit into Claude code & see what you come up with. I hope I'm inspiring the next generation of +EV gamblers with this 😎👍
I have A LOT of friends making A LOT of money market making on prediction markets.
Probably know 50+ people who pulled in $1M+ in the last 12 months. If you're technical/like sports betting, there's *real, real* opportunity.
Just putting it out there...

11 years sober! One of the best decisions I ever made on this day in 2015. Grateful for everyone who has supported me along the way to regain control and wake up every day a better version of myself as a father, husband, and friend. For anyone out there battling, just know you’re not alone and please speak up. There is a light at the end of the tunnel 🙏🏾

🚨HILARIOUS: Jon Gruden had a message for #Packers fans and their coaching staff:
“If you got the players, you gotta have the plays. And then, if you need a play caller, I’m available.”
Gruden even pulled out his PLAYBOOK and started showing off plays 💀
