If you're a data center struggling with water reporting / compliance check out this tool we built: water.abundance.industries
Gov. Abbott & AG Paxton have promised to crack down on data centers who failed to report their water use.
But experts say the penalties the state can issue have limitations. The penalty? A max $500 for companies worth millions. #txlege For @TexasTribune texastribune.org/2026/10/14/…
You don't need closed loop water systems if you're cooling with saltwater. Plenty of that in Texas!
Coming soon from @abundanceind
My data center prediction: In the next 1-2 yrs, all will be self contained power & water using closed loop systems & companied like $BE & might be putting power back on the grid lowering energy costs. Small towns who drove them out will regret not having their franchise $ & tax rev. In 5-10 yrs, @elonmusk & @JeffBezos will move data centers to space & the same people who are railing against them now, will be bitching about them being taken out of communities. Bookmark this.
I wonder how much of AI alignment is non-Christian engineers frustratedly fighting the inevitable gravity of Christ and His example.
Universal dignity, grace, truth, charity, servant leadership…
Christ is the most effective alignment framework for universal flourishing.
The main blocker to a future of abundance will be market design.
Data center buildouts are positive sum and will make power and water more affordable.
But only if we allow data centers to build it for themselves and, by extension, for us.
Google is willing to pay for the power it needs. That’s not the problem.
The problem is the utility incentive: own the generation and transmission, put it in rate base, and earn a regulated return—financed by captive ratepayers.
With enormous new electricity demand coming, that model has limits. Ratepayers cannot be expected to finance every billion-dollar project needed to serve new large loads, particularly when much of the investment is driven by a specific customer.
We need alternatives like Bring Your Own Power that allow large loads to pay their own way.
If Google—or any large customer—is willing to finance the infrastructure it needs, policy should enable it. Economic growth shouldn’t require making residential and small-business customers the default financiers of every new power project.
The foundations of prosperity and abundance are laid on top of cheap, reliable electricity.
And there’s no better place for that than Texas. That is why abundance will emerge here first.
This was always the plan. Elon said as much when he called his product family Macrohard and then kept talking about “virtual employees”
Pretty quickly you realize when using agents to do real automation that the limiting factor is your corporate systems plugging into your AI. If that’s solved, then it’s accumulating and serving siloed and permissioned context to agents.
MacroHard will be excel, word, teams, projects, invoicing, accounting, everything Microsoft and more so that companies can move at the speed of AI.
Elon is after Microsoft now!!
Cursor is planning to kill Github
Yesterday GitHub went down for 7 and a half hours. Website, Actions, Copilot, code merging, all of it. 15,000 developers reported outage.
GitHub's own CTO admitted they planned for 10x capacity and realized they needed 30x. They're now renting servers from AWS, Microsoft's biggest cloud rival.
Cursor launched Origin the same day.
A domain registrar is actually one of the few cases an NFT system would actually be useful.
This is absolutely insane. The free internet is dead if a state court can pull a website offline worldwide simply because the registry for its domain is based in the United States.
That puts the world’s access to information at the mercy of state lawmakers and judges—in this case, in Texas.
Should Texas get to dictate what content the whole world can access on the open internet?
Of course not.
And I assume Texans would say the same if Russia, China, or even Australia claimed the same authority.
Abundance will emerge in Texas because it’s the only place we can build things of this scale.
It’s the only place with the energy, minerals, water, land, talent pool, and the will to build.
All bottlenecks will be broken on the road for everything to cost ~$0.
The future is Texan! In no small part due to ERCOT.
As evidenced by this, the energy market of the future is resilient, cheap, and abundant.
Amazed that we are in the good AI future so far:
1. Open Source is robust and not far behind frontier (models and harness)
2. Token costs continue to plummet with no end in sight
3. Data center buildouts are forcing huge beneficial infra upgrades
This is the blessed timeline
Today, we are introducing Inkling.
Inkling reasons efficiently across text, image, and audio modalities. We are making the full weights available.

While we are doing lobbying for AI laws, I propose this. All providers of closed source models are 100% liable for their outputs. Copyright, libel, conspiracy, fraud, etc... If you want safe harbor from this liability, release the weights. This is real AI safety legislation.
Soon enough everyone will be an entrepreneur or unemployed.
I’m looking forward to seeing the next billion entrepreneurs come into their own.
Overheard at a dinner with tech CEOs the other night:
The top 1% of customer success and sales people at their companies are becoming hybrid "forward-deployed product managers"
They're not just managing relationships and relaying requests to product and engineering, but building features themselves.
They don't need t wait for engineering, product or design. They can ship exactly what the customer wants, instantly.
This is becoming prevalent at early-stage startups.
Roles as we know them are going to look completely different in a few years.
Best marriage trick I’ve discovered: “The Movie Game”
When picking a movie with a group of folks (back when we had physical DVDs and VHS options) we would take turns each removing a movie from the options.
Eventually you’re left with one movie and it never fails to be the best choice for people with diverse preferences.
You can do this in marriage for low-medium stakes stuff too like where to go for dinner, or vacation, or which apartment to move into, or any number of things.
You almost always discover the best option for both of you.
Tucker Carlson just gave the most brutally honest marriage advice I’ve ever heard:
Don’t say “Whatever you want, babe.”
When she asks orange or pink napkins? You confidently say “Pink.” She’ll correct you to orange — then you immediately declare “Orange is perfect” like it was your idea. Same with dinner. She doesn’t want you to hand over every decision. She wants you to lead… while she still feels heard.
Tucker’s line: “You’re repeating her choice back to her as a decision.”
Raw. Funny. And probably true.
A lot of modern relationship advice ignores how men and women actually communicate in real life. Getting this dynamic right can save years of unnecessary fights.
I laughed because I’ve seen this exact dance play out. Tucker has zero filter and it’s oddly refreshing.
Married or about-to-be-married people — how accurate is this in your experience?
Pessimism is an irrational exercise, total waste of time.
Optimism is the dominant strategy if your goals are health, happiness, and prosperity.
Well looks like AI, robots, and automation is now officially politicized.
Left = luddites
Right = industrialists
Really wish we could unify on the future of abundance but it looks like we’ll add this topic to the culture war (distraction).

Just back from the Texas Power Summit at @TAMU. Great discussions with the Aggie community, data center operators, Bitcoin miners, grid leaders, and Texas officials including Rep. Drew Darby and Rep. Brad Buckley.
As Darby says, “Texas is the energy capital of the world.”⚡
For AI to scale, energy strategy must be embedded from day one.
Bitcoin showed how compute can align with energy markets. Now AI and networks like Bittensor are following that path.
Texas is helping lead the way. Thanks @GideonOPowell for the invitation #AIinfrastructure #Energy #Bitcoin #Bittensor
The arrogance of these regulators.
It has to be arrogance right? The only other options are extreme stupidity, or extreme malice.
Hands off my means of production.
Your regulations will not help kids and you’ve demonstrated you will not prosecute abusers anyway.
California now requires every operating system to implement age verification by law.
An open-source calculator firmware just geo-blocked the entire state rather than comply.
The law (AB-1043) assumes all operating systems work like iOS with centralized accounts. It doesn't account for Linux, embedded systems, open-source firmware, or the millions of devices that simply can't implement ID checks.
We covered Apple baking age verification into iPhones for the UK last week. Now it's coming to America, and the scope is far broader than social media.
This isn't about protecting children. It's about building the infrastructure for universal digital ID at the operating system level. Once the pipes exist, the use cases expand. They always do.
A scientific calculator shouldn't need to know how old you are.
