The Epic Games CEO claims Valve has โheld gaming back for yearsโ by locking PC games into Steamworksโ ecosystem.
Sweeney argues that Steamโs social features make it harder for players on PC to communicate cross-platform while also criticizing Steamโs 30% cut.
However, that claim isnโt completely accurate. Valveโs Steam Datagram Relay can also be used across other platforms.
