There's also the thing where they have a sort of pseudo-mullet where it's some kind of half ponytail or half updo but with the hair at the nape left loose and then pulled over the shoulders.

No one - not a single person - created an Instagram account with the expectation that their photos would be used to generate AI advertisements. If users had to proactively opt in to this, no one would. Instead, Meta doesnโ€™t even notify you itโ€™s happening.

This is the problem with long-running projects like this, where the writers and designers feel the need to introduce new elements that feel incongruous with the previous design philosophy.
