Class is officially in session!
Introducing Riverside University. Your new go-to for learning how to create content on Riverside, without spending hours figuring everything out yourself.
We’re talking courses, video tutorials, real creator workflows, product updates, and everything from the moment you start recording to publishing your final cut. Whether you’re starting your first podcast, going live, or looking to get more out of Riverside, there’s something here for you.
No homework, just A+ content.
Too many camera changes can distract from an interview. This is my preferred workflow that enabls me to take more control of my @RiversidedotFM edit - a practical workflow for choosing scene breaks and balancing solo and side-by-side shots.
OMG @TechSmith thanks for finally implementing the fix to this Camtasia nuisance with a setting: cursor NOT always on top!
New Feature in @RiversidedotFM dropped: Zoom and pan. I demonstrate how you can add camera movement, screen-share focus, and B-roll animation. You can control the motion without losing your framing.
I was literally discussing this concept with my agent last week! Thanks for building this.
As promised, Rooms is out today! 🪟
It's a little macOS app I made for switching between projects. You pick the windows for each project and save them as a room.
Press ⌥Space, type the room's name, and it brings up those windows in your saved layout. I use it on my laptop and monitor, and it remembers my layout on both! ☺️
It's free and open source, and it's not perfect yet, so feedback and contributions are very welcome! 🫶

We've just added local support to Projects in Claude Code, so threads can now run on your own machine.

GPT-6 Sol and Luna are out. Not only are they a very significant improvement across the board, but also in writing and general "you know when you try it" quality.
We are also permanently reducing the API price by 50% making both of them viable for a ton of new usecases and making your usage go further too, even on the subscriptions.
And one more thing. We are loading a banked reset into all accounts of our Plus, Pro and Business users. Let's go!

There it is, banked resets ya beggars!
Replying to @claudeai
One more thing: we’re increasing five-hour usage limits on Pro, Max, and Team plans. We’re also providing subscription users a rate limit reset, which you can save and use whenever you choose.

AI Image & Video Generation with world-class models, now in Riverside.
Seedance 2.5, Veo 3.1, Nano Banana...take your pick.
Generate b-roll, intros, guest cards, cover art, and more, right where you already edit your content.
Perfect for giving your content that profesh look.

Using Jev by @typesafeai to almost instantly classify my YouTube channel comments by sentiment! This thing rocks! Used to take ages with an LLM
I signed up for so many waiting lists, tbh, by the time I get let in, I forgot what I signed up for, lol :D
After co-inventing ChatGPT, I kept asking myself: why have superhuman chat models not led to AGI?
I’ve spent the last 2 years in stealth building a new way to train models (RLCD), and a new type of frontier AI model that we are releasing today: Jev
• 20-200x faster
• 40-400x cheaper (w/ output tokens free)
• Frontier composable intelligence optimized for decisions
AFAICT the shortest path to AI-based economic revolution
Live streaming in @RiversidedotFM used to mean manually changing layouts, participants, text, and branding while trying to stay focused on the broadcast.
Today, I show you how a new Riverside feature - Studio Scenes - lets you prepare key setups in advance and switch between them with a click or keyboard shortcut. You'll see practical host, screen-share, and guest layouts, plus what Scenes do - and don't - carry into your recording for editing.

Now @RiversidedotFM helps you adjust your camera during recording and live streaming.
Get CAMERA READY with skin smoothing, face lighting, studio lighting, "ring light", and temperature control.
I test the controls in a dark room, show how they behave. Getting the image right at the recording stage can save time a lot of time in editing.
