I came across this clip on my fyp earlier, and what Kotone said really brought me to tears, so I thought to translate it and share it with everyone. Although I mainly support Nagao's team, I did watch a few of team 1's practice streams and have seen how much care and patience Kotone showed when she was coaching Taiga, and how much Taiga has improved in this past week. What kotone said here is exactly the reason why I love this kind of tournament, why I love NIJISANJI. There are a lot of great gamers in NIJISANJI, but what's greater than seeing their amazing gameplay, is to witness how these livers are willing to pass down their knowledge and take time to coach those who have never touched the game before. It's also encouraging to see these newbies so eager to learn and put in the effort to practice. As a splatoon player myself, seeing someone like Taiga reminds me of why I love this game. Another heartwarming moment is to hear Kotone telling Taiga that, despite only winning one match in the actual tournament, "treasure the feelings and memories you gained during the process". I've said this before but, even though I do have certain livers I like better than the others, I consider myself a hako-oshi because I admire this spirit of "passing on the passion from one liver to another". This is a community where not only people who are experts get to show their skills, but also a place where newcomers can show their growth and progress. #にじイカ祭り2026
